MD Arsh Dhaliwal’s efforts yield results as Ashok Leyland unveils India's largest premier automobile lab at CGC Jhanjeri.
**Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, Launches Advanced Innovation and Skill Development Centre**
Under the visionary leadership of Managing Director Mr. Arsh Dhaliwal, the Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri, is transforming the educational landscape with the launch of its new Innovation and Joint Skill Development Centre. The state-of-the-art automobile lab, unveiled on August 6, is developed in collaboration with Ashok Leyland.
Mr. Dhaliwal’s commitment to aligning education with job market demands is evident in this latest initiative. His goal is to ensure students are well-prepared for their careers. To further this vision, an event was held at the CGC Jhanjeri campus, attended by notable figures including Mr. Devakaruppaiah B, National Service Head of Ashok Leyland, S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, and Mr. Arsh Dhaliwal. The event featured the unveiling of two fully-specified Ashok Leyland trucks, highlighting practical, real-world applications for students.
Mr. Dhaliwal's efforts to inspire both faculty and students emphasize the importance of fostering creativity and innovation. The event underscored CGC Jhanjeri’s dedication to advancing innovation and skill development.
“This collaboration brings invaluable industry expertise, equipping the next generation of automotive engineers with world-class training and the skills needed to excel in the automotive sector,” stated Mr. Dhaliwal.
Elaborating on the facilities and resources available at the centre, Mr. Dhaliwal highlighted several key features: “Ashok Leyland has provided us with cutting-edge resources, including 8 high-performance engines for studying advanced engine technologies, a comprehensive assembly line for hands-on experience in assembling and disassembling automotive components, 2 fully-specified Ashok Leyland trucks for practical industry-standard training, and next-generation diagnostic tools and technology that bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills.”
