JEE Mains 2026 Exam Date Session 1

The JEE Main session 1 exam dates are yet to be released. The exam is scheduled to commence during the last week of January 2026. This examination comprises two distinct papers:

• Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech): This paper, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, is conducted over multiple days in a computer‑based format. 
• Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning): Designed for you if you are seeking admission to architecture or planning programs, this paper is conducted in a single day. NTA JEE Main 2026 Notification Release Date

The JEE Main 2026 official notification, i.e., the information brochure, is released by the NTA. The JEE Main session 1 exam dates notification is expected to be released in late October or 1st week of  November 2025.

JEE Main 2026 Application Form Date

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Release Date

NTA JEE Main 2026 Answer Key Date

The JEE Main answer key will be released after the Session exam concludes. After each session of the JEE Main 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional answer key. The answer key is released along with the response sheet and the question paper. The provisional answer key can be challenged by you if there is any discrepancy in it. The release of the JEE Main answer key is an important event for you as it provides you with an early insight into your performance before results are officially released. 

After the review of objections to the provisional answer keys, the final answer key is released by 

the authorities on the official website. Based on past trends, the provisional answer key for Session 1 is likely to be released in the first week of February 2026, and the final answer key will be released in 2nd week of February 2026, after which the JEE Main 2026 result will be released.

After the completion of JEE Main 2026 Session 2, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional answer key on its official website. Based on previous years' trends, the provisional answer key for Session 2 is expected to be released in the third week of April 2026, followed by the final answer key.

NTA JEE Main 2026 Result Date

The JEE Main Session 1 results are anticipated to be released in the second or third week of February 2026. The JEE Main result 2026 is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the form of a scorecard. You can check your NTA Score, percentile, and All India Rank (AIR) using your application number and date of birth. The AIR will be released after the release of the session 2 results. The JEE Main result will be released after the release of the final answer key.

The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 result is expected to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the last week of April 2026, shortly after the final answer key is published. Based on past year timelines, the result typically comes out within 2–3 days after the release of the final answer key.

JEE Main 2026 Counselling Date

The JEE Main 2026 counselling is conducted by JoSAA on their official website, together for both sessions after the declaration of JEE Advanced results. The JEE Main counselling will begin in May–June 2026. The JEE Main admissions will be based on the best score from the two JEE Main 2026 sessions. The JEE Main 2026 counselling process is conducted in 6 to 7 rounds, allowing you to get admission into 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, 28 GFTIs (Government-funded Technical Institutes), and 23 IITs.
