The JKBOSE migration form can be filled out online by visiting the official website of J&K State Board of School Education. Every application for migration must be accompanied by a fee of INR 90/- for interschool, which will not be refunded even if the application is rejected.
Only those with a migration certificate, accompanied by documentation proving the student is eligible to pursue higher education, will be granted admission into the streams and institutions of their choosing.

Instructions & Guidelines For Filling Online Migration Form
The applicant's information on the online migration application form should match the information on their secondary school diploma, matriculation certificate, or comparable examination certificate. The applicant must sign the online application form themselves.
The applicant must send the following documents to the university in hard copy, either in person or by mail, along with the legally certified migration form stated above.
- Self-certified copy of the university's original degree certificate.
- Self-certified declaration of final year marks.
- Self-certified provisional certificate (for that specific year).
- Self-attested online fee receipt.

Steps for Filling Online JKBOSE Migration Form
Candidates must follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out the JKBOSE migration form in online mode:
Step 1: Visit JKBOSE's official website, www.jkbose.nic.in, and click on the link
available on the home page – “Apply online for Migration/Eligibility’.
Step 2: Under the Student Login window, enter your valid email I.D. and phone No.
OTP will be generated and sent to the mail I.D.
Step 3: Select the “Migration” option.
Step 4: Fill out the application form by entering the correct Registration No. after
getting the same from the concerned school (if not available with the candidate)
Step 5: After submission of the Migration form, the request will go to the new school
where the candidate wants to seek migration.
Step 6: Once the new school approves the application request of the candidate
for migration (by accessing their school account), the request shall automatically
be forwarded to the school where the candidate is currently reading.
Step 7: After the request has been approved by the current school (by accessing
their school account), it will automatically go to the Registration Section /
concerned the Sub-Branch office of JKBOSE.
Step 6: The BOSE will provide a suitable date for document verification to the
candidate for visiting the concerned BOSE office along with the original required
documents, the intimation for the same shall be provided to the candidate on
their email I.D.
Step 7: After document verification and final approval by the JKBOSE, the
candidate has to deposit the prescribed fee through online mode only by
accessing the “Student Login” window again.
Step 8: “e-Migration Certificate” will automatically be generated and sent to the
student's email I.D. and also to the concerned school’s dashboard, where the
a student has applied for migration.

Who Needs a JKBOSE Migration Form?
Students moving to another school inside or outside of the Jammu and Kashmir area from one JKBOSE-affiliated institution.
- JKBOSE graduates who are applying to universities or other educational establishments outside of Jammu and Kashmir to pursue a degree.
- Students who have qualified for 9th, 10th, 11th, or its equivalent examination through another recognized education board University are eligible to migrate to this board.
- Students who want to apply for admission to a school connected to the JKBOSE but have finished their education outside the Jammu and Kashmir region.
