NIT Eligibility Criteria
The National Testing Agency released the NIT eligibility criteria for the year 2024. The applicants must check the NIT Eligibility criteria before applying for admission. The following requirements must be fulfilled:
- As per the new guidelines, 75% marks are not mandatory for admission in any NIT.
- Candidates must pass the class 12th examination in the year 2021 or 2022.
- The applicants who are appearing in the 12th class are also eligible to apply.
- The applicants are allowed to appear for JEE Mains for three consecutive years.
- The applicants must pass the qualifying examination with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), and their subjects must include Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject.
