RUSA to Benefit Students
Under MHRD, RUSA is the centrally sponsored scheme of higher education. Under the union budget of 2017, RUSA was allotted Rs.1300 crores. To improve the growth and development of students by improvising access by providing strategic funds is the ultimate goal of the scheme. The departments of the university have to bring in certain reforms to become eligible for the grant.
There is an increasing need for equipment as technology continues to advance at an increasing pace. With improved classrooms, labs and other infrastructure and facilities, the ministry hopes to see the improvisations in the system soon become a reality and not remain just a dream.
