Courses Offered at Vanier College

The courses offered at Vanier College are 16 pre-university programs and 14 technical career programs. The Diploma of College Studies (DCS) and the credit DCS courses are offered by the Continuing Education Department. Various DCS programs are Modern Languages, Computer Science and Mathematics, Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Health Science, Animal Health Technology and Nursing. General Studies programs are offered in English, French, Humanities and Physical Education. Different majors are can be taken up by the students in East European and Slavic Studies, Indigenous Studies, Sustainability, and Women’s and Gender Studies. The non-credit courses for improving language skills such as Academic Writing Skills, Intensive English for Academic Purposes, and Academic Writing. Non-credit language courses are also offered in Japanese, Italian, Mandarin, and Spanish.

Vanier College Admission Requirements and Tuition Fees

The admission requirements at Vanier College include completion of pre-university secondary studies with above-average academic performance. The international academic documents should be evaluated by Equivalent scholarly by SRAM. Language Proficiency score can be TOEFL with a required score of 80 for internet-based or 213 for computer-based or 550 for paper-based. Test of Written English (T.W.C.) of a minimum of 4.5 is also recommended for paper-based. IELTS score with a minimum of 6.5 is also accepted. To prepare for college-level French, students who don’t know French have to take basic non-credit French courses. The average tuition fee per academic year is $15,000.
