New Caledonia College was founded in January 1969. It was set up on an ‘operation cost only’ basis. It was started with financial assistance from participating districts. CNC used the buildings rented by Prince George Senior Secondary School. Some of the first programs offered at the College of New Caledonia include Early Childhood Education, First Year University of Arts and Sciences, and data processing. The CNC has gradually relaxed to teach these things.
New Caledonia College offers diplomas and certificates and the average annual enrollment in the college is about 5,000 students. The college has 3 different admission processes - open, limited admission, and selection.
New Caledonia College offers diplomas and certificates in Business and Administration, Technology, Business and Industry, Health Sciences, and Human Services. The application fee is 125 CAD.

In New Caledonia, the admission requirements for foreign students will depend on the country of origin and the level of education. All certificates, diplomas, associated qualifications, transfer programs, and diplomas have the same requirements.

How to apply?
New Caledonia College accepts applications for three semesters per year in January, May, and September. International applicants are advised to apply at least 6 months before the first day of the semester in which they wish to attend. Students are advised to apply before March 31, 2022 (Closed), if the program has a selective process.
Applicant details are recorded in the student file and the student number is generated. Students who meet the requirements to join the program will receive an email delivery letter in 4-6 weeks.
