OCAD University was renamed three times between 1886 and 1996 before being renamed the Ontario College of Art and Design. In 2010, the college was transformed into a university under the 2002 Act, leading to its current name. It is affiliated with the International Association of Universities, the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design, and the Canadian Bureau for International Education. It is also affiliated with the University of Ontario and the Council of Universities of Canada.
OCAD University programs are available to undergraduate and graduate students. OCAD University offers courses such as Contemporary Art and Design, Creative Writing, Criticism, and Curatorial Practice exclusively for international students and with more than 20 artists and 16 major programs.
OCAD University offers three types of undergraduate degrees Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Bachelor in Design (Bid), and Bachelor of Arts (BA). Many courses at OCAD require four years of full-time study

Ocad University’s last date to apply for all applications is February 1, 2022 (Closed). The university considers applications received after February 1, 2022, as space permits, although some applications may not be accepted after this deadline. You can only apply for 1 program at OCAD University.
Ocad University offers more than six undergraduate programs in digital futures, strategic foresight, and innovation. Other popular courses at the university include spoken word, traditional visual culture, commercial design, digital future, graphic design, graphic design, integrated media, practice management, and creative writing. Bachelor of Fine Arts is the most preferred course in OCAD.
