Selkirk College is one of the oldest regional community colleges in Kootenays, British Columbia. More than 10% of the international student population is part of Selkirk College. After receiving the acceptance letter, a Canadian study permit and visa should be obtained by the student from the Canada Immigration website. A valid passport must be present and first-year fees should be paid. A guaranteed investment certificate of CAD 10,000 and other transcripts must be produced before the office of admissions. Biometrics might be asked. The college takes time to process and a letter of introduction(POE) will be given to the students.
