The University of Manitoba which is also known as U of M is a public research university in the province of Manitoba, Canada. It has two campuses. It was founded in 1877, it is the first university in western Canada. The university has a reputation as a top research-intensive post-secondary educational institution and conducts more research annually than any other university in the region. They have around 1,45,000 alumni from 140 countries, their impact is global.

U of M has two campuses, in addition to two campuses, the University has multiple satellite sites throughout the province and research settings around the world. The two campuses are:

Fort Garry campus (Main campus)

Admission Details

International applicants have to demonstrate English proficiency through one of the internationally recognized standardized examinations in English as proof of English proficiency. TOEFL: 86; PTE: 58 and IELTS: 6.5 test scores are required for admission at University of ManitobaApplication form submitted after the deadline date will not be entertained. The scores of the test C1: 180 and C2:180 are also accepted by the admission office. Students have to submit some other documents also:-

It varies the tuition fees for the students at the University of Manitoba according to their course and program. There is an estimation of the fee according to academic programs, for the undergraduate programs, the fee must be 16,462 CAD annually. For the graduate programs, the fee must be 6,542 CAD annually.

The acceptance rate of the university is 52% with three intakes per year, Fall, Summer, and Spring. All applicants have to apply online for admission through online mode, through the Online Portal. After paying a non-refundable amount of 120 CAD for UG courses and 100 CAD for the PG courses, applicants can proceed to submit their required documents.
