Academics & Faculty :
Academic faculty especially in the Computer Science Dept are top notch. The faculty comprises both experienced and young members. That helps the student to get to interact with the professors. In our own dept. we have a healthy 1:7 teacher student ratio.
Professors encourage us to pursue higher research in life and also they many times share their own research topics with us. Some professors are just over the top because their level of teaching sometimes are very high and again there are profs who are very easy to understand. But both of them are very student friendly.
I personally encountered that when a professor guided me for extra 2 hours after each day for the competitive exams.So they are very helpful in nature.
Fees & Scholarships :
Fees are very adjustable and economics.
Because of very low fees a lot of scholarships are not available.
Only on basis of academic performance and economic background special scholarships are given.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
The college has been accredited as A level by NAAC recently. So in terms of infrastructure and labs, equipment it is very good. Plus the college campus is healthy and greenish.There is also a herbal garden. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls in the campus, large playground for football mainly which also hosts a small stadium, basketball court, swimming pool gym facilities ( which is not available all time), big library with a good collection of materials and a large reading room.
In terms of lab, there are 3 computer labs for software and 1 lab for hardware practical. All the software labs run RedHat Ent server and Windows Server 2012. There is also an extra server room for hosting college website. Hardware lab contains CRO, microprocessor kit, microcontroller and many other things.
Clubs & Associations :
There are very fewer associations at college level. We have the small club of coders. On every weekend, we gather for fun coding not for any educational purposes but to learn and have fun. Even our professors care to join sometime. We also organize coding competition open to all student (must be a student at least) quarterly with the help of our professors.
