Placements & Internships : Since I am a first year student I don't know much about the placement. But as far as I know, the placement percentage is around somewhere near 70-80%. And many big tech giants come here for hiring students. The alumni network is pretty good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for entering the university is to qualify in any of the entrance exams like KCET,COMEDK, or even the college's entrance exam. The cutoff varies year to year. I joined through KCET exam and the cut off for my branch (AE) was around INR 16k-INR 18k. The rank varies from branch to branch also.

Fees & Scholarships : I entered the college through KCET admission letter so my fee will be INR 56000/- but if you join through COMEDK or University exam the fees would be INR 160k/- -INR 180k/-. Loans might be required for students from middle class family and the loan avails are easy.

Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs and are very active. The college life is a very memorable experience

Placements & Internships : I have done 3 internships and each in reputed government firms. I wasn't offered a stipend but gained a life's experience. One in Hindustan aeronautics limited, then one in Bharat electronics limited and the other one in Aeronautical development establishment, DRDO LABS. The maximum number of companies that hire in our college are for the IT Department with respect to the engineering department. And the business school has very good hiring and intake rate. 40% of the batch on an average gets placed every year. And the range of salaries is in a scale of 2.25-7.00 LPA. The alumni network is pretty strong and worldwide. They have good connections and are in good touch with them.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criterias were pretty strict and well designed. Exam based merit selection and also entry through the various competitive exams hosted by the government. I took up CET(Karnataka). Had an average score and it didn't help me get into the course i wanted. So, I wrote the alliance admission test and cleared the exam. The typical cut off is 65% and above. The alliance admission scores basically need to match the yearly cut offs put up by the university.

Fees & Scholarships : Alliance College of Engineering and Design, Bangalore Fee Structure. My course cost me 6.00 Lakh for 4 years. There are certain scholarships available based on merit in academics and extra-curriculum and also on financial background. The average number of students who get a scholarship are roughly in a range of 30-40%. Yes loans are needed to pay a huge sum of amount as a fee. But yes almost every bank provides one with proper documentation work.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings: 9-16:30 every weekday. Assignments on a regular basis with proper evaluation. The teaching staff is satisfactory but has a few very good staff in core subjects. The method of teaching is pretty efficient. The college life is really exciting and a good time altogether.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 5 girls hostels and 5 boys hostels. The hostel fees is approximately 75k per semester. The pgs outside are pretty affordable and well equipped too. The food in college is really good. It costs only a mere sum of 60 INR. The infrastructure quality is brilliant.

Clubs & Associations : A lot of club activities happen on a regular basis. The alliance carnival is the main event that happen. The life in college is really fun.
