Academics & Faculty : The college daily starts at 9:15 in the morning. Classes usually do not extend to more than 6 pm in the evening. There are sufficient breaks in between classes with a permanent lunch break for the entire college from 12:50-13:50.

There are sufficient breaks in between classes with a permanent lunch break for the entire college from 12:50-13:50. Projects and assignments are frequently assigned to test the students' capability and keep them engaged and interested in the curriculum, while also assessing them. Exams are conducted at the end of the semester in an orderly fashion. 

Placements & Internships : Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to do an internship from the college yet. From what I've heard from previous batches and seniors, the placements and internships are excellent. 

Fees & Scholarships : Amity University, [AU] Kolkata Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.8 Lakh. There are quite a few scholarships available to students from different backgrounds. Scolarships are available based on academic performance and other criteria. You can apply for a scholarship while pursuing the course. Sports and other such criteria are also considered for scholarship.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are currently 2 hostels in the premises, one for boys and the other for girls. The hostels are in good and working condition with most of the amenities that the college promises. The hostel fee is 1 lakh per annum with food and security not included.  There are other accommodation options outside of college that are affordable and safe for young students. Since the area that the college is situated in is mostly occupied by young working professionals or students, accommodation is easier and cheaper to find. Per month, expenses on rent would range from 15-20 thousand.

Clubs & Associations : There are a plethora of clubs and associations from which you can choose according to your liking and specifics. Almost all fields and co-curriculars are covered.  Almost all festivals are celebrated on campus, and the college fest that is Amiphoria is a huge event that takes place every year. Sports events are also highly decorated and celebrated each year. College life in general is a delightful experience.  

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission process for the course that I'm currently pursuing, that is Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and Mass Communication), was quite straightforward. The eligibility criteria for this particular course is a decent enough score in the board examination taken by the student at the end of their plus two along with an adequate performance in the entrance exam that the college conducts. There aren't any typical cutoffs mentioned in the college application portal or otherwise, a reasonable and satisfactory performance and overall profile will be helpful.
