General Requirements for Undergraduate Admissions 2024

B.Tech

• The candidates should pass 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri admissions 2024.

• They should attain at least 55% and above in each subject.

• Students not less than 20 years old are eligible for the course.

BCA 

• Candidate should have a minimum aggregate of 60% in their 10+2 higher secondary schooling.

• They should be from a known school by AIU.

B.Sc - Microbiology, and Biotechnology

Candidate should pass intermediate schooling with 60% and above in overall subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

General Requirements for Postgraduate Admissions 2024

MBA

• The candidate should pass 10+2 along with three years of Bachelor's Degree and the overall percentage should be a minimum of 50%.

• It also requires all the entrance exams, that includes - MAT, CMAT, GMAT, GRE, XAT, IBL-TOEFL and IELTS.

• GMAT test is compulsory for NRIs and students with a Foreign origin.

B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, and M.Sc.

• Submission of Application can be done on the official website of Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kollam

  • Key points of submitting online Application;

    • Candidates are required to check the B.Tech handbook thoroughly.

    • In order to make the application form valid mobile number and E-mail ID are mandatory.

    • They are requested to check the form before submitting it and fill the form carefully.

    • If the data entered is found false while verification the form would be rejected.

    • Candidates are obliged to check the important dates in order to prevent any clash henceforth.

    • Incomplete and Incorrect application forms are rejected.

• The application includes Personal Profile, Academic Profile, and Family profile.

  • The application includes personal details along with academic details and income details of the family.

• Mode of admission - AEEE or JEE

  • AEEE or Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering:

    • It is divided into 2 modes

    • Computer Based test and,

    • Pen and Paper test.

    • Both the papers are two and a half hours each.

    • 100 question comprising of which 30 each from Physics and Chemistry and 40 questions from Mathematics.

  • JEE main:

    • It is dependent upon the marks obtained in JEE main scorecard.

• The candidate has to choose a place for attending the AEEE test.

• If the JEE main option has opted, it should be done through JEE mode. 

MBA

The application form should contain the following requirements,

• A soft copy of the candidate's recent passport size photograph.

• Candidates appearing or appeared for Entrance examination like KMAT, MAT, CAT, XAT, GRE, GMAT, CMAT are also eligible.

• The application amount is worth Rs. 1000/- and can be paid through online means or by a DD.

• The DD should be in favor of the campus and should be sent on the given campus address. the applicant is requested to mention the application form reference number, name and mobile number at the back of the DD.

• The DD should be in favor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, and should be sent on the address; Admissions chair, School of Business, Kasavanahalli, Carmeleram P.O, Bengaluru 560035 Karnataka.

• Ensure that the application is filled up carefully and no further modification will be entertained after the submission of the form.

• Application Fee once paid is non-refundable.

• Without the paying of the Application fee, the form is considered to be as incomplete and can be rejected without the applicant's notice.

General Requirements for Undergraduate Admissions 2024

• The candidate firstly has to Apply online and register for AEEE and choose the #jee-main option.

• Prior to the online counseling, the candidate has to submit Academic Preference. 

• Online counseling has to be registered. 

• If satisfied with the seat allotment, accept it.  

• The tuition fees have to be paid.

• Satisfy the eligibility criteria by producing all the original credentials and get them verified.

General Requirements for Postgraduate Admission 2024

• Direct admission is granted for candidates with,

  • Qualification in GATE  

  • Two years of minimum experience in either academic or engineering industry.

  • CGPA of 8.5 and above with excellent academic credentials.

  • Amrita graduates are also highly eligible.

• For the candidates not suitable for the above-mentioned criteria, are admitted based upon the AEEE rank.

• Applicants with good projects in their graduation are also highly preferred for the course.

MBA

• The admission is based upon the merit obtained by the applicant.

• An aptitude test is conducted.

• The candidates have to undergo a personal interview.

• The candidates can go through the ASAS Kollam Fee Structure in the official website

M.Tech / MCA

• The aspirant should obtain an aggregate of 60% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in their higher secondary board.

• They should pursue a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology.

• They should also acquire a Master's degree in either branch of Science or Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Applications.

• The candidate should take up Professional Society Examinations that are acknowledged by MHRD/ UPSC/ AICTE which will be equivalent to BE or B.Tech or B.Arch.

• The candidate has to get 60% or above in their graduation and higher secondary school.

• Applicant should be graduated from either Engineering, Medicine, Life science, Mathematics and Computer sciences.
