Library

It is housed in a multi-story building and is a well-stocked library with the latest technology. The books are all barcoded and categorised using the Dewey decimal system.
There are almost 30000 print books in the Bankura University library. The volumes in the collection cover a wide range of topics, including English and Bengali literature, pure sciences, arts, history and social sciences.
It has subscribed to print journals and access to hundreds of e-journals. It has a massive collection of magazines and newspaper subscriptions.
The library is equipped with Wi-Fi and high-speed internet connections, allowing users to utilise the internet. Computers with OPAC access can search the library's resources.

Reading Room: The Bankura University has a reading room that provides a conducive learning atmosphere. The attendance registers of faculty and students are kept to track daily footfall in the library. The issue, return, and renewal are all done manually and are ready to be done through the KOHA ILMS system.

Hostel: The Bankura University hostel does not have accomodation facilities.
