Since the placement cell is into its 6th year, the consistent effort made over the past years is now bearing fruit. The role of interface between companies looking for bright talent and young hopefuls has been effectively played by the placement cell, which is evident from the number of students getting placements and the quality of Jobs that they have landed. The need of the hour for the coming year is to develop more Corporate contacts so that in the coming year we can generate more employment opportunities for the students. We have scheduled the Placement Drive in the month of January 2014.
Apart from recruitment, the Placement Cell has been engaged in various activities for an overall development of the students.
First and second year students have engaged themselves by working in NGOs. Their work is highly appreciated by the volunteers working there. Various seminars for different departments were held. Students have shown keen interest in these activities. In addition to success on the front of recruitment, the Placement Office also undertook workshop on Employability Enhancement Skills so as to orient and fine tune the students for immediate absorption and employment upon completion of their courses. Our college students attended interviews conducted by CPC in the North and South campus. Most of the students are able to access internet and are well versed with emails through which they are easily connected to me. The high success rate of the students of our College in getting offer letters from reputed companies gives me immense satisfaction and motivates me to work hard for these excellent students.
