BITS Pilani Admission Cancellation and Refund Policy 2026
BITS Pilani applies a uniform admission cancellation and refund policy across all programs for the 2026. This policy is applicable to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses.
The one-time admission fee of INR 60,500 (or as specified) is non-refundable under normal circumstances. If a candidate withdraws before the final admission confirmation deadline, the admission fee is refundable minus processing charges. After the final deadline, no refund is granted for the admission fee.
- Before commencement of classes: Full refund minus admission fee and processing charges.
- Within 15 days of commencement: 90% refund of tuition fees.
- Between 16-30 days: 75% refund of tuition fees.
- After 30 days: No refund on tuition fees.
- Hostel and Mess Charges: Refundable on pro-rata basis if withdrawal before occupancy. Mess advances refunded if no dues pending.
- Caution Deposit: Fully refundable upon clearance after withdrawal or completion.
