Fees & Scholarships :
Since this is a government college the tuition fee is not very much but the mess and hostel fee might seem a bit high for some students. The average tuition fee is 10000 per year. It charges every year as the semester increases. In BSc there aren't any scholarship options but there are some in MSc courses. Like the top 3 students in every semester get 5000rs per month until the next semester results are out. In every batch 3 students get scholarship. Coming to loans section they aren't needed.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
The eligibility criteria at the time of my admission were straightforward. The students was supposed to have cleared his 12th standard with 70% in PCM. At the time of my admission, the students were required to the CUCET entrance examination and clear it. However, Now this exam is changed to CUET which not gives admission to CURAJ but to some other universities also like DU, BHU,etc. Talking about cutoffs it was 40 marks for general students like me (No EWS)
Placements & Internships :
I haven't enrolled for any internships yet, but I surely will do one before I complete my graduation. The most common companies that hire from CS department CURAJ are TCS and IT. The average package here is 4lacs per annum and the height is 6lacs per annum. Alumni network is not well developed here in CURAJ
Academics & Faculty :
Daily Routine - class timings is usually from 9:30 to 6:30 but there are breaks after every hour or two. We have a minor project this semester which is of 2 credits so it becomes compulsory for every student this increases our skills and confidence (this is very helpful). In other departments too there are projects like social work and other stuff according to the course students are studying. Teaching here is good. We here are taught by professors with completed PHD. And the labs and practicals are usually overviewed by phd scholars. Teachers here teach us in both Hindi and English language in case any student faces difficulty in a particular language. The overall experience here for a student is good and all. But day scholars face some difficulties adjusting with food and water.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
In CURAJ there are total 8 hostels 4 for girls and 4 for boys. The hostel fee is approximately ₹800 -₹900 per month for 1st-semester students. The University is not in touch with a city or town. We are very out of here. Kishangarh is nearest from here that is 20 km. Students do reside in Kishangarh as the University provides its own bus. Food quality is not very good here according to the fee they collect but it is unlimited except for sweets, they are in fixed amount. The mess price is ₹15000 per semester which us about ₹16 per meal. Classrooms and Labs are maintained regularly and most of them have projectors also. So they are convenient for students. Labs are equipped with good quality instruments. Library here is very good. Wifi is okay sometimes it works good but not always. Though wifi in departments is very good . Lan connections are actually good here.
Clubs & Associations :
Here students are good and have made different clubs and political associations like ABVP and these associations are actually doing some work like social work and stuff. They often go on outing and off-roading. The main festivals celebrated officially here are- GANESH CHATURTHI, DIWALI, DUSSEHRA (gharba nights ). College life here in CURAJ is good for an active student as he gets so many opportunities according to his choice of courier in both studies and sports.
