About the library:
CT Educational Society was established in the year 1997 under the able guidance of a great missionary and visionary S. Charanjit Singh Channi, presently the Chairman of CT Group of Institutions Jalandhar. Our library system opens doors for our people to the world beyond and within. It gives our people full opportunity to learn, live purposeful lives and grow to their full potential, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.
Hostels
Separate Hostel facility is available for Boys and Girls. Aesthetically designed, the hostel blocks are spread around the campus. The hostels are interconnected, mostly in blocks of three.
Each of the blocks has a square in the center where badminton courts with good turf are maintained, with some blocks also having lawns in the square. Each hostel block has a common room where facilities such as wall-mounted televisions, table-tennis tables and carom and chess games are available. It is the common room that provides the scene of action for get-togethers, parties and informal discussions. Each block is also equipped with fully automatic washing machines and each floor is further equipped with landline phones, water coolers and water purifiers.
The individual rooms are furnished with teak cots and bedding, a computer table, chairs, closets and shelves. All rooms have full time wireless internet connectivity with direct lines to the main LAN. The housekeeping staff is available through the week and takes care of cleaning the rooms, corridors and rest rooms on a daily basis.
Dedicated mess facilities and round the clock canteen facilities are available in the hostels. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is available and the pan-Indian menu is managed by the student body. Various other snacks, biscuits, chocolates, ice cream and soft drinks are available in the mess itself.
Transportation
A fleet of buses, cars, ambulance and other vehicles provide uninterrupted transport facility to the students, faculty, staff and visitors. The CT Group presently maintains a convoy of 64 vehicles including 50 buses, 12 cars, 1 ambulances including one security vehicle & 01 tractor for agriculture and plantations purpose in the campus.
The CT Group extends the pick and drop transportation facility to students within a radius of about 100 km adjoining the city of Jalandhar.
Gymnasium
The CT Campus takes great pride in its state of the art Gymnasium. The gym is equipped with most modern work out machines like exercise bike, rowing machine, stepper and multigym. Also, dumbbells and discs are available in all sizes to provide participants extensive free weight training. All the three types - Flat, Inclined and Declined - are available for the bench-press enthusiasts. The Gym floor features a layer of plywood and adds to the ambience of the Gym, making the workout a highly enjoyable and refreshing experience. A complete boxing kit consisting of punching bags and gloves adds another feather to the cap. The CT Group Campus also employs the services of part-time yoga trainer and weight instructor.
Laboratories
Computer Labs
The CT Group chooses to lay special emphasis on ensuring that its graduates are ready for the technical challenges of an information society. There are a number of computing facilities available on the campus.
The computer lab houses computers and is generally available during working hours only. Additionally there is a separate lab operated by the MCA Department. The state-of-the-art facility features hardware software that is geared to specific academic programmers.
Every Computing center in this network is enabled by state-of-the-art technology and reflects the prevailing trends in computing. Advanced networking technologies facilitate a seamless integration of the various computing centers and the multiple operating systems. The university encourages hands on experience at all levels, making available standard, licensed software to all students and staff. The servers available are RISC based, XEON technology, and laptop computers.
Class Rooms
The classrooms at CT Group Campuses do not just create an atmosphere that is conducive to learning but in a sense nurture the quest for knowledge that the students possess. The original classrooms all seat 60 students. All classrooms are equipped with all modern teaching aids. These include electronic media such as multimedia notebooks, LCD & projectors etc. There are also separate Seminar rooms, Audio-Visual rooms and seminar halls equipped with state-of-the-art videoconferencing facilities.
