The Institute has a full-fledged Training & Placement Cell to look after the Placement activities. The Training and Placement cell provides the official support base for placement of Final year & Pre Final year students. The support services that it offers are in the form of arranging campus interviews, grooming students to face the final test of their knowledge, create and arrange value added Industrial/Practical Training to the students. The institute is equipped with two centrally air conditioned Auditoriums (with a seating capacity of 1200 and 350) for holding Pre-Placement Talk, two conference rooms for conducting group discussion sessions, seminar hall and well furnished rooms & offices for conducting interviews. The Placement Office is fully computerized. The Steering Committee of the Placement cell is headed by the Training & Placement Officer of the rank of Assistant Professor and Industrial Coordinators from each department of the rank of lecturers. In addition to the support staff, four students from each department are contributing as Student Placement Coordinators.
The T & P cell looks after all arrangements to be made for the purpose of conducting campus interviews including everything from, the Pre-Placement Talk, to the written tests, to the final interviews. The Training and Placement Cell firmly believes in taking feedback from the companies that have visited the Institute since the feedback from the company serves as a yardstick regarding the performance of the students. This helps the Training and Placement Cell in concentrating on various areas for improvement in the students. We believe that our students are like 'uncut diamonds' who need to be guided in the right direction to acquire their luster.

Placements & Internships : After 2nd and 4th semesters, students have to go under do 2 months internship under various streams. Which helps the student to learn and grow with the industries standards and give a brief idea of what has to be done in future. Average placement is INR 4-7 lakh in CSE and IT Engg.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria is that you should have a minimum of 60% in your +2. That is the main requirement and the seats are allotted within the college.
Fees & Scholarships : The fee structure is INR 87000 per annum. And hostel facility is also available and the cost varies as per the room condition. The scholarships are provided by govt. as for SC and ST tuition fee is free. And there is a scholarship for the students to take admission through Punjab Technical University in terms of loan, if a student wants to take loan any bank can give it.
Academics & Faculty : Classes start at 9 and depending upon the schedule it may get till 5 in the evening. There are two midterms and one final at the end of the semester. The method of teaching is very flexible. Teacher teaches and the students want to learn and you can clear the doubts at any time when the teacher is free. Overall I have seen it is great college in terms of fees and faculty and campus is very good overall
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are three hostels 2 for boys and 1 for girls. Hostel fee varies from INR 30000 to 50000 including food per sem. The mess of hostel is cooperative and the food is prepared on student committee demands. Quality of the classroom is good and the library is very big.
Clubs & Associations : There are various clubs sports, photography, theatre, dance, music, artists, technical clubs etc. There is youth fest, sports meet, freshers party, tech fest etc. Its a fun and study type of college life. Time is equally divided for everything.

Placements & Internships : Companies like Wipro, L&T, etc. come and hire from the campus. Average salary per year is about INR 4-5 lakhs p.a. The highest package best to my knowledge is, I guess, INR 12 lakhs p.a. About 50-60% of the batch gets placed.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate has to appear in JEE MAIN entrance examination. He/she has to register for IKGPTU counselling for admission to the college before the deadline. If selected in counselling the candidate can visit the college for admission within the allotted time period. I took JEE MAIN entrance examination. The candidate must have scored about 60-70% in 12th board examinations for admission in various streams/courses.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fee per year for B.tech. courses are about INR 70-80k per year excluding the hostel fee. Loans are easily available from banks like PNB etc. Various scholarship options are available the campus. About 20-25% students get scholarship per class.
Academics & Faculty : The routine timings are 0900hrs to 1700hrs. Regular assignments and projects are assigned by the teachers to students. All the staff members are either PhD's or are pursuing their PhD's. Quality teaching is offered by the friendly staff members. Regular events and fun events are held and organized by different communities or groups of students within the college
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are total 3 hostels in the campus naming ug hostel for girls and boys and pg hostel for boys The hostel fees vary from INR 25k to 40k per semester depending upon the room you take Various pg's are available around the college. The food in the hostel is just fine not too good and costs about INR 30-40 per meal for those who do NOT live in the hostel. Wifi campus, smart classrooms, decently equipped labs and a nice library.
Clubs & Associations : Various societies are available on the campus for different fields like photography, dance, singing, art, drama & acting etc. Sports meet is held every year on the campus itself Youthfest and other cultural festivals are also held occasionally in college College life is pretty good.

Fees & Scholarships : My course fee is approx. Rs.42000/- as I an under fee waiver scheme. But other students without this advantage has to pay 95000/- approx. a year. Also, scholarships are provided to students based on caste only. 4 out of 60 students only in a class got the scholarship. Also, loans are the major requirement for the students who willing to study but couldn't afford that. Some reputed banks should provide loans with ease like SBI, PNB, HDFC, ICICI etc.
Academics & Faculty : Teachers are always there for the students. No delays, no excuses from their side. Their teaching methods are good but I think something wrong is there in the university syllabus as it is very behind the present technology My overall experience in the college is good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 4 hostels available in the college.I don't know about fees as I am a day scholar. Other facilities in the hotel as I heard from students is good to expect sometimes complaints with the food. Another infrastructure is good enough- labs, libraries, Wi-Fi and all other are quite satisfying
Clubs & Associations : There are some societies and clubs on the campus. Techfest, cultural fest, games and sports tournaments held quite obvious every year. It's the best to be the part of this college but the exception is its limited area.

Academics & Faculty : College is great and college timings are 900 am to 5 pm.Quality of education is great and my overall experience in college is very good. Method of teaching is such that we are not only taught us about the subject but also given immense training of industry.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fee is per year is around about Rs 1 lakhs. As such no scholarship is given from college but many private firms and public firms keep on rendering scholarship to needy and schedule caste people who's family income is below 1 lacs.
