Fees & Scholarships : As this is a Government Univervisty the fees are not very high except for engineering courses. The average fees per year is around 10000-15000 per semester. Loans are required for the engineering courses and are easily available from Banks. Scholarships are forwarded to all lower castes students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For this course, the eligibility of the student is based on the percentage of marks he/she carries in graduation in the same branch. The students with more marks get selected. There are no entrance examinations. The cutoffs usually stay above 60%.

Placements & Internships : There are many branches in the University including engineering. Placements only take place for some selected branches like MBA. Placement is not that common here but once you graduate you can apply for any private or Government jobs as the certificate provided here is valuable and considered as a good addition to one's resume.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are different hostels for boys and girls, around 15-20 hostels are present. Fees of the hostels are reasonable, Rs. 1500/ month. There are PGs outside the campus as well, they are well maintained but the fees can be higher than the campus hostels. Food is decent in many hostels but can be not satisfactory sometimes. The classrooms are kept neat and tidy, the university has quite a big library with every book necessary and they make it a point to add more if the students make a demand. They also opened another library only for the engineering students. Laboratories are well equipped and students get every possible help to learn the use of the equipment.

Academics & Faculty : Daily classes start at 9:30 and can go up to evening 5:00 depending on laboratory classes if there are any. Final exams are held in every six months, there are also mid term exams held twice each semester, 20% marks are usually kept for home assignments and projects. Most teachers are cooperative and have a good education background like PhDs and are very serious with classes. The overall experience is can be said to be good, the campus is peaceful.

Clubs & Associations : Every year through elections members are selected for the University club, each member represents different categories. There is the Varsity week held every year during February - March which includes different sports and cultural activities. There is also another festival held by the engineering department which showcases different fashion outlets and models as well other cultural programs are held. Life in general is busy with studies for the students but they get enough time for refreshment as well.
