Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra is spread over 14 acres. It is acknowledged for its campus and residential facilities. Some of the highlighting features of the DBRAU campus are mentioned below.
Central Library
- The DBRAU has a central library on its Paliwal campus and individual libraries in each department. It is spread across 2500 sq. mts and offers more than 1,67,800 books to the students.
- Students can borrow books from the circulating department to read at home. This section allows users to borrow and return books. The DBRAU library has around 1,40,000 books.
- It has access to 4500 e-journals in full text/abstract form from seven well-known publishers, including SpringerLink, Economic & Political Weekly, IOP, Oxford University Press, Taylor & Francis, ISID, and JCCC, as well as 150 journals in gift from various disciplines.
- Apart from print materials, there is a distinct collection of non-print resources, including audio cassettes, two VCRs, and two colour televisions. Microfilm and microfiche can also be read with microfilm or microfiche readers.
Hostel
- The DBRAU offers hostels with mess facilities, medical facilities, sports facilities, and administration. There is a separate unit each for boys and girls.
- There are 2 fully furnished hostels that have twenty-four-hour security provisions.
- DBRAU hostel facilities include cots, curtains, storage space, study tables and various recreational facilities.
- These include DTH television and sports facilities, like table games, tennis, chess, volleyball, cricket, etc.
- There are medical facilities, including care boxes, present at every hostel.
- There is a good mess service in each hostel governed by the mess committee made up entirely of the students.
