- Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Botany or Zoology instead of biology can also get the admission.

Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (DPDKV) Application Process
The students who are willing to get admission in the DPDKV should know about the application process of the University. The University offers the students to get admissions in the UG courses like BBA, B.Sc, B.Tech. The application process of the University is similar to all the three UG courses.
Application process
- The students can get the application form both online and offline.
- In case of online, the students should download the application form from the official website of the University (https://www.pdkv.ac.in/)
- In case of offline, the students should get the application form directly from the Administrative office of Yenepoya University.
- After the application form is filled with correct details, the students should send the form in DD with the payment fee of INR 600( INR 300 for Reserved category students) along with the necessary documents to get into the admission process.
Documents necessary during the application process
- Mark sheet /Grade card of qualifying examination
- School / College (Last attended) Leaving Certificate
- Bonafide Certificate in case of candidate admitted by ICAR quota
- Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- Domicile Certificate / Residential Certificate
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- 'Non-Creamy Layer Certificate' issued and valid upto the date of submission of application form
- Certificate of ‘Project Affected Person’ issued by the District Resettlement Officer of Government of Maharashtra
- N.C.C. ‘B’ or ‘C’ / Air / Naval /Army wing Certificate
- Certificate of Games/Sports/Debate/Essay/Elocution issued by the District Sports Officer
- A Certificate of the Freedom Fighter of the applicant’s parents issued under the signature of the Honourable Prime Minister / Chief Minister of Maharashtra State
- N.S.S. Certificate issued by the Competent Authority
- Defence Personnel Certificate from Zilla Sainik Board
- ‘No-Objection Certificate’ from the Employer in case of Inservice Candidate
- Migrant/Displaced students from Jammu and Kashmir State should submit Certificate from the Competent Authority
- Certificate of Handicapped issued by the Competent Authority (if applicable)
- Economical Backward Class (EBC) Certificate

The students who are willing to get admission in the DPDKV must know about the Admission process of the University. The University offers the students to get admission in the UG courses like BBA, B.Sc, B.Tech. The admission process of the DPDKV is given below.
- 15% seats of the total seats shall be reserved for admission through All India Common Entrance Test conducted by Indian Council of Agriculture Research, Delhi.
- Rest of the 85% seats will be filled on the basis of qualifying degree merit i.e. marks obtained by the candidate in 10+2 qualifying examination.
