Library

Our Library has a rich and copious collection of books of over 6000 titles, 70 national / international journals, magazines and newspapers of didactic and academic interest as well as of general learning importance and awareness to support the teaching and research activities. The well stocked and spacious library hall covering about 5000 sq. ft. of floor space and with 300 seating capacity and an inventory of books arranged in seemly order settings in the shelf alignment is located on the main structure's first floor overlooking the breezy and excogitative lakewaters and facilitates calm, cosy and unperturbed reading atmosphere with reclining relief in chairs.

e Library

e-Library or Digital Library or Online Library or Virtual Library is the one in which collections are stored in digital format as opposed to print, microform or other media with computer access to such collection of information resources in the nature of retrieval system. The e-resources collection could be subscription based or developed using local information resources or a combination of both. The e-library allows an user to search, retrieve, save and re-use in real time.

Hostels

Separate Hostel Blocks are provided to boys (2blocks) and girls (1) with all necessary infrastructural facilities within the campus itself proffering homely atmosphere. Hostel accommodation is available and allotment is made following objective criteria with priority to foreign students and the candidates from outside the state. A written request alongwith the application needs to be enclosed. The maximum period of stay of a student in the hostel will be commensurate with the duration of the course. Presently, the institute can accommodate 300 students in single or double rooms -200 for boys and 100 for girls.

Sports & Gymnasium Facilities

A well equipped ' Gymnasium ' managed by Gym Instructor provides for their physical exercise requirements to stay fit and agile throughout. Gym is equipped with most sophisticated equipment which are user friendly for the overall benefit of students.

Considering the importance for building a robust health and to beef up physique which is a prerequisite for a healthily performing mind, adequate weightage has been accorded to both open field and indoor sports activities. A 5 acre open sports ground provides the play field for outdoor games while indoor provision has been made for the sake of conducting games like table tennis, chess, carom board, etc.

Dining Hall

The dining hall where 150 persons can be fed at a time is attached to the hostel blocks and managed by a student-staff mess committee. The committee formulates the menu table at fortnightly gaps to the satisfaction of the palatable preferences of mess members in general and relish the dish you wish. The average diurnal bill costs nearly Rs 100 per person (approx) for the three time fooding per day which is inclusive of evening snacks.

Computer Laboratory

100 computers are installed in the computer lab both for office and student use. They are all interconnected in LAN and connected to internet with 1:1 leased lines with dedicated 2Mbps speeds.
