Infrastructure Facilities at Fakir Mohan University, Balasore:
- Information and Communication Department is well equipped with a separate building with WiFi connectivity.
- The computer centre has 24/7 hours high-speed internet facilities.
- The Departments are formed with modern teaching equipment.
Library:
- Library works from 9 am to 6 pm and it provide Open Access to Users.
- The Number of seats in the reading room is 60 and it has Total 15, 431 number of books.
Hostel:
- Fakir Mohan University has one gent's and one ladies hostel, Each hostel will be having warden and superintendent.
Canteen:
- it has clean and hygiene canteen which sells tasty foods at an affordable rate.
Sports:
- The facilities available in the sports and games are Cricket Ground, Volley Ball Court, Basketball Court, Badminton Court.
Central Computing Facilities:
- The University has formed a centralized computer centre in I&CT Department which is sanctioned by UGC under the scheme “Establishment of Computer Center” in the year 2006.
- The department also takes cares of central computing facilities of the University.
Instrumentation Maintenance Facility [I.M.F.] Centre:
- The Instrumentation Maintenance Facility [I.M.F.] centre is founded in the year 2006-07 with support from UGC.
- Presently, I.M.F. Centre is being functioned at Vyasa Vihar Campus which is there at Fakir Mohan University.
- It has well maintained scientific instruments and electronic hardware for the various departments/sections of the University.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are six hostels( two boys hostel and four ladies hostels) in our campus. The hostels are neat and clean and it is comfortable to any student to maintain her student Life. The hostel fees per yr 10 thousand and meal dues are depends upon per month expenditure. All courses offered here are very good. The food quality maintain here is very good and with affordable cost. All building are in good condition and library ,wifi,labs are well managed.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Candidate must possess minimum 50%mark in B.sc degree with honours in chemistry or chemistry as a pass subject from this University or any other university.The admission process is depends upon your entrance and carrier evaluation. I have qualified pg entrance examination in m.sc chemistry.The cut off are based on the performance of the candidates of this year.
Placements & Internships : I got e-medhabruti scholarship awarded by state govt.There is no campus facilities in our subject.Our Alumni network is very strong .They have good response to our department.
Clubs & Associations : Puja festivals, National observe days, National seminars, Annual function, Convocation, Athletic function,Fakir Mohan's birth anniversary,University foundation day, sports these are the festivals on our campus. A suitable environment is here for the study life of a student.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel available in new campus and in affordable price. PG is also available in a good price. Good quality of food given here. Non ac classrooms, ac labs and library. Wifi is open for students.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Bsc with minimum 60% marks in hons physics is required. The university has its own entrance test. Cutoff depends on every year's performance and bachelor's degree marks.
Placements & Internships : Each year students from this University score very good ranks in national level exams like NET,GATE,JEST,BARC,TIFR etc.
Fees & Scholarships : Per year Course Fee is of Rs.32000 only required as course fee. College fests like -medhabruti,prerana etc scholarship are available. 9 out of 10 students each year get these scholarships. No need for loans.
Academics & Faculty : 10 am to 6 pm is class timing. It provides very good labs for practical. Very nice quality of teaching. I have a great experience by joining here.
Clubs & Associations : Many societies are present for student communication and to enhance their extra knowledge. Puja,annual day, alumni meet, foundation day etc are celebrated here. In general a very healthy and enjoyable life we spent here.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 3 girls and 3 boys hostel present in Fakir Mohan University. Hostel fee is Rs. 10,000 per year and mess charge is between Rs. 1,200-1,500 per month. The food costs Rs. 50-60 per meal. The campus is totally WiFi with high-speed internet and Campus is so clean and cool that it makes a perfect place to study.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria are mainly based on entrance exam conducted by Fakir Mohan University. To Study MSc, We have to qualify the entrance exam which is conducted. Due the number of seats are less than 32 or sometimes 46 the cut off could be higher.
Placements & Internships : Many Internships are available from government or companies like Mahindra, Tata, Jindal etc. Also, these companies have a great role in Campus selection at Fakir Mohan University. Many Biotechnology Students are getting hired by reputed food or pharmaceutical companies at a high salary ranging from Rs. 40,000 to 2 lakhs.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is different for different courses at Fakir Mohan University. However for biotechnology students, the course fee is Rs. 43,000 per year. But Scholarship is available for top 5 students which are provided by Department of Biotechnology, India. Many other Scholarships are available for other students.
Academics & Faculty : Examinations are well conducted and Projects are done properly according to the guidance of teachers at Fakir Mohan University. Teachers here are highly qualified as this is a government institution and method of teaching is also advanced. Projector based teaching is used.
Clubs & Associations : There are students Union, Sports, Cultural and other events which are held in the Fakir Mohan University campus. Many Indian festivals including Republic day, Independence day, Saraswati and Ganesh puja are celebrated on the campus. Besides these alumni, Convocations and many National conferences are held on the campus. However, the life is great in this university due to the peace and studying environment of the campus.
