Globsyn Business School provides a variety of scholarships to students studying post-graduate management programmes. The National Scholarship Programme (NSP) strives to recognise merit from a wider viewpoint and include people who have excelled in non-academic fields. There are two types of scholarships available at Globsyn Business School. The following provides more information on the GBS Kolkata scholarship.
Kalyani Scholarship
- This scholarship is for the students who are from economically weaker backgrounds. It is offered to 7 students.
Eligibility : Students with excellent academic records whose parents' or guardians' income does not meet the requirements listed under "Parental Income Ceiling" are eligible for the Kalyani Scholarship. The following list includes the requirements for this scholarship's eligibility.
Class 10/equivalent: >= 75%
Class 12/equivalent: >= 75%
Graduation: >= 60%
Qualifying Aptitude Exam (CAT/MAT etc.) >= 80 percentile
Other outstanding achievements (documentary proof required)
The students must maintain an academic CGPA of 6.0 in all semesters and actively participate in Globsyn business school's Beyond Education Activities.
Outstanding Achievers Scholarship
- This scholarship is offered to students who are exceptional in sports or cultural activities. It is offered to 6 students.
Eligibility: For athletes, the student must have received recognition from a prestigious sports association at the State or National level for participation in any outdoor or indoor sporting event. Students who achieve distinction or achievement in the arts from prestigious associations at the regional or national level will be eligible in areas like debate, quizzes, dance, drama, etc. Every semester, an assessment of the students' performance would determine if they qualified for a partial fee relief.
The amount of Scholarship is INR 100000 each.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is 7.5L yearly, which seems to be pretty good with the placements they offer. Loans are optional and are easily available.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria: Candidates must have 55% in graduation. I took MAT as my entrance exam. The admission procedure was very smooth.
Placements & Internships : I had my internship with HBF Direct Ltd.Companies that came for recruitment were Pwc, EY, ICICI, HDFC Life, and many more. The average salary was 4.5 L.
Academics & Faculty : Class times are from 10 am to 5 pm. Faculties are highly qualified in their respective domains. Overall experience was pretty good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : College infrastructure: classrooms are well spaced, fully air-conditioned with a library and games parlorthere is a girls' hostel attached to the campus; the hostel is fully air-conditioned with a warden in charge 24*7The food provided was very hygenic.
Clubs & Associations : There is a social club called Kylf. The annual fest is held at the end of each year, named 'Serendipity.'College is extremely good, and you can pursue MBA at GBS without any hesitations.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission is based on good marks in graduation, and there were GD and PI sessions as entrance examinations.
Placements & Internships : I got the internship opportunity at Unschool. My job role was Unschool Community Leader.
Academics & Faculty : Online classes start from 10 am, and there is a 30 minutes break after a class. Many projects and many assignments are done to develop student's confidence and knowledge. The faculties are very supportive and very talented. The way of teaching every student is unique. The overall experience in college is very good.
Clubs & Associations : There are many events at this college. Despite being virtual now, GBS is organizing virtually all events that many colleges cannot do. Events like Guru Dakshina (Teacher's Day), UMANG (E-Diwali Event), and many more.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria were CAT, MAT, or GMAT score, and an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% score. The admission procedure is as follows: GBS Aptitude test with minimum 60% score followed by GD round then PI round. Once shortlisted, will get a mail or phone from the college.
Placements & Internships : Though the internship was from Work From Home (WFH), but was indeed a hard one to crack during this pandemic and was given a chance to outshine. Most companies hire Marketing, Sales, Finance and IT graduates from GBS, and the average salary package offered ranges between INR 5.50 Lakhs per annum to INR 6 Lakhs per annum.
Academics & Faculty : The daily routine was from Monday to Friday from 10.15 am to 5.30 pm. With assignments almost every day for every subject and exams being conducted regularly at the end of the semester.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The hostel infrastructure is good with the perfect ambiance for class, dining areas with good food and wifi.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is 7.5 lakhs. I haven't taken any education loans so no idea. Also, no idea about the students who got the scholarship. But yes GBS provides many online courses like digital marketing, industry 4.0 and so on which will be very helpful in the near future.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is minimum graduation in any field from any known University. The entrance exam I took was CAT. The typical cutoffs for my course was 50%
Placements & Internships : I have done an internship from Alma Mater Biz solution pvt Ltd. Many fmcgs and mncs come for placement at GBS. I have been placed at PWC for the role of Tax Associate for which I will always be grateful towards GBS. The average salary figures is 5.5laca or it sometimes varies from year to year Alumni and faculties here are very supporting
Academics & Faculty : Class timings is from 10a.m. to 5p.m. There are lots of projects, assignments, class activities and exams to be done And the quality and methods of teaching is very interactive and efficient. They provide face to face and virtual learning to their students So, my experience was really good, helps to impart knowledge and indulge social activities and to learn business culture
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 hostels - one in campus and the other one is in khariberia. Though I haven't taken any hostels there so no idea about the fees. The qualities of classrooms are very luxurious. Even there are great amount of books available in the library which is more than enough to fulfill your needs. There is an availability of proper labs, great canteen, proper Wi-Fi system and with great infrastructure
Clubs & Associations : Life is very interesting in college. Attendance is mandatory. There is an availability of buses for all students even for the hostel students too. Many events are held in GBS like serendipity, battle royale, anando utsav and many more. I too volunteered and participated in many events at my college and enjoyed it alot.
