GNIT Girls Institute of Technology (GGIT) is situated at Plot No. 6-B, Knowledge Park-II, Greater Noida, very close to 8 lane Express Highway joining the capital region of Delhi. The GNIT Girls Institute of Technology (GGIT) complex is spread over 5 acres of land.

HOSTEL & MESS

Institute is equipped with hostel facility for all the students, in the campus itself. It provides 2 seater /3 seater rooms with attached bathroom and other facilities. Furnishing includes a Bed, Study Table, Chair, Mattress, Bed Sheets, Pillow, Blanket in winter and a separate almirah for each student. Institute Management is very particular that the rooms are kept clean, airy and well ventilated and maintain hygienic surroundings. The hostel has students recreation room. Mess facility is an integral part of the hostel, which provides food in a comfortable atmosphere with sense of comradeship and fraternity amongst the students. Meals provided in the hostel mess are wholesome and nourishing. Mess caters, to the tastes of the students of different regions. Mess menu is planned by the 'Mess Committee' and managed by the students in consultation with the caterer and the management. Hostel charges include the rent of boarding + electricity charges + other charges for facilities provided. These charges can be revised from time to time by the management, keeping in view the prevailing circumstances. Students wishing to have hostel facility are required to deposit hostel fee as per rules of the Institute. No student is allowed to leave the hostel without permission from the authorized person. Failure to follow the hostel rules will provide disciplinary action. Further hostel is provided with high speed internet Wi-Fi connection, facilities for recreation, 'First Aid, M.I. room' and 24 hours power backup.

LABS

The Computer labs are well equipped with latest configuration desktop computers and the state-of-the-art software. All computer systems are connected in LAN/Wi-Fi and 6 Mbps Wi-Fi internet connectivity is provided for the benefit of students as well as faculty members. The Windows, UNIX and LINUX operating systems and software packages such as Microsoft MSDN Academic Alliance, Drawing and Drafting package (AUTOCAD), Multimedia, Animation and various editing packages are made available to the students to create simulated environments to suit not only the curricula very well, but also to go beyond it.

LIBRARY

Central Library has a modern collection of knowledge resource and innovative information services. The transaction of the books is automated. The Central Library is well stocked with a collection of huge number of volumes on various topics that include text books, and books for supplementary reading. The Central Library is organized on Open Access System. All the required books on Applied Science, Humanities and Social Science, CSE, ECE, ME, Civil steams are available in the library. Students have the option of either utilizing the audio/visual material stocked in the library or bring in such materials from outside sources. The Library is equipped with Reprographic facility. It has a seating capacity of 150 and is managed by professionally qualified library staff

LECTURE HALLS

There are sufficient number of Lecture Halls and Tutorial Rooms in the Institute to cater the requirement. These are architecturally and aesthetically designed and are well ventilated. The furniture of the rooms is ergonomically designed for the comfortable sitting of the students. In addition to the traditional blackboards, the lecture halls have provision for overhead and LCD projectors to support multidimensional & multimedia teachings.

TRANSPORT

Transport facility is provided to students, faculty and staff residing in the NCR region, viz. Noida , Ghaziabad etc. The institute has its own fleet of buses which take care of daily transport requirements. The bus facility is also used by students for the purpose of excursions, study tours and industrial visits.

CONFRENCE HALL

The institute has Conference Halls in the academic block itself. Students and faculty, extensively use it for meetings, seminars, conferences, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. In addition, an open-air auditorium shall be constructed for college functions and events. All around the "campus" there are large lawns surrounded by plants and trees. Both hostel-inmates as well as day-scholars hold small group discussions and other activities during off time/period.
