Average salary offered is around Rs.2-4 lakhs per annum. Highest is Rs.4 lakhs. Roughly 10% of the batch gets placed every year.

Entrance Exams & Admissions :
The candidates are brought into the college through the Anna University counselling, Guindy.
The chances of getting a seat at this college depends on the percentage of the student.
Matriculation/CBSE/ICSE/State board students with 12th pass certificate or equivalent from government recognised institution are all eligible to apply for counselling. Typical cutoff varies each year. A rough value is about 85%.
Only the most elite and meritorious candidates get the chance to select this college at the counselling. Which justifies the fact that above 90% of the students in this college are school toppers.
Fees & Scholarships :
The course fee per year is around Rs.7,000 rupees.
Students can apply for various scholarships such as Tamil Nadu Government Scholarship, Vijaylakshmi Trust, etc.
All the students who have entered into the college through Anna University counselling and are residents of Tamil Nadu can avail these scholarships.
Around Rs.15,000-18,000 rupees are given to each student every year through scholarship.
No loans are needed for studying in this college as the Course Fees and the Hostel Fees are very low.
Academics & Faculty :
Classes start at 9:10 AM and ends at 4:30 PM. Saturday and Sunday are holidays.
Students do mini projects and final year projects and few of them have their Patents registered.
Assignments are given as per the units covered. At the end of each unit, the corresponding assignments are given to students.
Exams are divided into Internal Exams and the University Exams because the college is affiliated to Anna University. The main exams are conducted by Anna University having 80% weightage. Whereas, the Unit Tests are conducted by the corresponding Department having 20% weightage.
Each department has their own Professors/Doctorates and the Assistant Professors/Doctorates equipped with their vast knowledge and experience in respective field. Guest Lecturers are also recruited into the college on a yearly basis.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
There are four hostels. Two for the Boys and the other two for the Girls. Hostel fee is charged Rs.7,000 on yearly basis.
PGs are unavailable outside the college. However, rent rooms are available at around Rs.4,000 per month.
There are no canteens available in the campus. However, there is a stationary shop for a few basic needs and refreshments. The hostels have their independent Mess facilities. But the quality of food is extremely poor.
Few small-scale hotels are present around the college with a modest rate of food. It costs around Rs.40 per meal.
The college is a beneficiary of the Teqip-2 program by World Bank.
Which has led to huge developments in the infrastructure in the past 4-5 years.
All the classrooms are equipped with projectors. And separate LAN nodes to access internet through wired connection.
There is also a full campus wifi facility in the college. The laboratories of the various department and the library facilities got a boost.
Advanced World class lab equipment have been introduced into the college.
Clubs & Associations :
Various clubs include the NSS and the Youth Red Cross society.
There are not many facilities for sports and extracurricular activities.
The main festivals in the college are the intra-college symposium and the National Level Technical fest called PHANTASM.
Life in college, in general, is quite bad as there is no exposure to outside world and there is gender inequality.
