College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Infrastructure: The campus of GEC, Raipur, has three main academic buildings, but as per the orders passed by the state government, GEC, Raipur is operated only in one building, and the other two buildings are given to IIT Bhilai and IIM Raipur on rent. The college provides a good Wi-Fi facility. Facilities: Independent classrooms, laboratories, computer lab drawing halls, workshop, boys/girls common room, library are the facilities in the institute.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility Criteria: Pass 10+2 examination. Secure at least 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/OBC). Entrance exams students need to appear for JEE Main (National Level Exam) & CG PET (State Level Exam) to get admission into the UG engineering programme. Cutoffs as per the CG PET Round 3 counselling 2021, the closing score of Government Engineering College, Raipur BTech in Civil Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering is 60.63 and 72,34, respectively.

Placements & Internships : The placements for computer science are quite better than other branches. The highest salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA-12 LPA, while the average salary package offered ranges between 1 LPA-4 LPA. You will get to learn about leadership within the clubs in our college like LOK and Codechef. Internships are offered when students are in the 3rd year. Academics & Faculty : Timings for college are from 9:00 AM in the morning to 5:00 PM in the evening, but do not worry; you do not have to study from 9 to 5. It consists of a lunch break and a few more hours break. In 1st year, there are hardly any projects. But there is a sufficient number of assignments; seminars depending on your course and college.
