Infrastructure Facility:
Library:
- The university has a well-equipped library which caters to the need of both students and teachers.
- The library has a collection of 3.9 lack documents in the field of Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Animal Husbandry, Home Science, Fisheries, Basic Sciences, Humanities, Technology & other allied subjects.
- Students, teachers, & other staff of the university are eligible for the membership of the University Library.
Hostel:
- The University provides well maintained spacious hostels.
- There are separate hostels for boys and girls with 24/7 security.
- About 3000 students are lodged in 22 hostels.
- The students staying in the hostels are provided with quality healthy food.
- The facilities include furniture, fixtures, gym, study room, mess, Common rooms with colour TV, Hostel Library, Music Room etc.
Medical Facilities:
- The University has a well equipped Hospital which is easily accessible to all the people of the university.
- Services of ayurvedic and homeopathic doctors are also available on the campus.
Ambulance facilities:
- Facilities of an ambulance are also available for transportation of seriously ill students from their hostel to the Hospital on the request of warden concerned and for transportation to an outside hospital, if necessary.
Shopping Centers
- The campus has a well developed main marketing centre and three small marketing centres adjacent to the residential areas in the campus.
Games and Sports:
- Games and sports activities are organised through 17 games & sports clubs.
- The University provides sufficient games and sports material to all the hostels as well as University level teams.A sufficient number of hostel games courts and central playgrounds in addition to the full-fledged stadium, adequately equipped gymnasium, physical fitness centre and a swimming pool exist for athletic as well as sports and games events.
