Gurugram University scholarships are offered to eligible applicants. Scholarships aim to cater to the financial welfare of students. The institute provides three types of scholarships to students. Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions set by the university to avail of financial assistance. More details regarding the Gurugram University scholarships are mentioned below.

Full Tuition Fee Concessions

Gurugram University grants full tuition fee concessions to students who meet the following requirements on the advice of the Chairperson of the Departments and approval of the Vice Chancellor in genuine circumstances, up to 10% of intake:-

  • Candidates whose family income is under 2.5 lakh (students must submit a valid income certificate/affidavit) per annum can apply for the Gurugram University scholarship.
  • Students whose attendance is at least 75% on the recommended application date.
  • Applicants who have passed all the previous examinations of the concerned course.
  • Students whose parents unfortunately demised during the session.

Wards/ Spouses Concessions

The following concessions are available to the children/spouses of Gurugram University personnel who pass away while in a harness:

  • Full Tuition fee concession.
  • Three fourth (%) of the Development Fee concession.

Gurugram University scholarships 

  • All programmes (excluding Ph.D. programmes) at the University Teaching Departments may be offered with a 50% tuition discount to University employees and their dependents (sons, daughters, siblings, sisters, and spouses who are/are not employed and are/are entirely reliant on him/her and living with him/her).
  • 50% of the tuition fee is waived for parents with solely female children who are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • For kids who lost both parents to the COVID pandemic and applicants who fall under the BPL category, the entire tuition is waived in the Gurugram University scholarship.

Post Matric Scholarship

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ BC/ OBC categories can apply for the Post Matric scholarship. Candidates whose family income is under 2.5 lakh per annum. 
  • The advantages include registration, tuition, sports, clubs, libraries, magazines, medical exams, and any other costs that must be paid by the student to the school, university, or board. However, refundable deposits such as caution money and security deposits are not included in the Gurugram University scholarship.
  • Students must submit the application form to the relevant Chairperson/Director of the Department/Institute in order to be admitted under this scheme.
