HNBUMU Departments

HNBUMU has 13 departments that offer specialisations at the postgraduate level.  The departments are fully equipped to conduct all academic operations and provide the best resources to implement the curriculum effectively.

HNBUMU Admission

HNBUMU admissions will begin July/August 2024. It offers access to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Medical, Paramedical, Dental and Nursing streams. These include MBBS, BDS, BSc, MD, MS, MDS, and MSc courses. The admissions are based on NEET-UG, NEET-PG, and NEET-MDS exams. Admissions are made online, and the counselling begins after the results are released.

The MD courses available at the university include Anatomy, Pharmacology, Ophthalmology, Radio-Diagnosis and Community Medicine. The MSc Nursing course is offered in three specialisations surgical, mental health and psychiatric, and the MPT course is offered in five specialisations.

HNBUMU Eligibility Criteria

MBBS/BSc Nursing/BDS Eligibility Criteria

• The students must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised board.
• The students must appear for the NEET-UG exam.

MD Eligibility Criteria

• The students must have passed MBBS from an  MCI-recognised university/college and obtained permanent registration from any of the state Medical Councils.
• The students must appear for the NEET-PG exam.

MDS Eligibility Criteria

• The students must have passed MDS from an MCI-recognised university/college and obtained permanent registration from any of the state Medical Councils.
• The students must appear for the NEET-MDS exam.

HNBUMU cutoff 2022 has been released for all the courses offered at the university and the affiliated colleges. The cutoffs are released soon after the results of NEET-UG, NEET-PG and NEET-MDS are released. Students can apply based on their rank in the qualifying examination.
