NEET MDS 2024 stray vacancy round counselling started on the official website, mcc.nic.in. NEET MDS 2024 counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round has been declared by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The registration process is ongoing from Oct 14 until Oct 16, 2024. The official website, mcc.nic.in, is where eligible candidates should register for the NEET MDS counselling 2024 stray round.
NEET MDS choice-filling process will take place between Oct 14 and Oct 17, 2024. The choice locking process will take place between Oct 16, 2024, at 8 pm., and Oct 17, 2024, at 8 am. NEET MDS 2024 seat allotment results will be announced on Oct 18, 2024, and the institute reporting period will run from Oct 19 to Oct 25, 2024.
NEET MDS qualifying cutoff percentile has been reduced by 21.692 percentile in the General, SC, ST, OBC, and UR PwD categories, and the NBEMS will announce the updated result based on the revised NEET MDS 2024 cutoff.

NEET MDS 2024 cutoff has been decreased by 21.692 percentile in each category. This is done in response to the United Doctors Front Association's request to address the remaining unfilled seats following the AIQ NEET MDS counselling 2024. The NEET MDS cutoff percentile for the general category has dropped to 28.308 percentile from the previous 50 percentile.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) reopened the NEET MDS counselling 2024 Round 1 seat resignation process on Aug 1, 2024, for candidates whose seats were not upgraded in Round 2. The deadline for resigning from a seat in the NEET MDS 2024 counselling round 1 is on Aug 3, 2024, by 6 pm.
The final NEET MDS seat allotment list has been announced on Jul 31, 2024, tentatively in the first half. Candidates must download the seat allotment order before proceeding with the institute reporting process. The institute reporting process will run from Aug 1 to Aug 7, 2024. Between Aug 8 and Aug 9, 2024, institutes will verify the data of all joined candidates.
NEET MDS 2024 counselling round 2 registration process commenced on, Jul 22, 2024, the choice-filling round began on Jul 23, 2024, and ended on Jul 28, 2024, at 11.55 PM. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct NEET MDS 2024 counselling.
The counselling process which is done on behalf of MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) will be conducted purely online for admission to 1300 MDS seats available nationwide under All India Quota (AIQ).
NEET MDS 2024 Counselling Dates
The institute's reporting process for round 1 runs from Jul 11 to Jul 17, 2024. From Jul 18 and Jul 19, 2024, institutes will verify the data of all joined candidates. About NEET MDS
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS 2024) is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission in various Post Graduate MDS Courses under the Dentists Act, 1948. No entrance examination, other than NEET MDS, either at the state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MDS Courses as per the Dentists Act, 1948.
The scores obtained in both, NEET BDS and NEET MDS, will be accepted by all the top-ranking medical colleges, and top-ranking dental colleges- government and private - at all Indian levels.
All India has 50% quota seats for MDS courses (all states except Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Telangana). State quota seats for MDS courses for all States/ Union territories of India (including the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Telangana).
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts NEET MDS 2024 which was established by the Government of India in 1975. NEET MDS is organized as a national-level examination for admission into the Master of Dental Science (MDS). NEET MDS takes place once a year. NEET MDS is conducted online i.e. Computer-Based Test (CBT) which contains MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) with a single correct response.

NEET MDS Eligibility 2024
NEET MDS 2024 candidate must have passed the Bachelor of Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India registered with the State Dental Council. They must have obtained provisional or permanent registration and have undergone a compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognized dental college.

NEET MDS Eligibility 2024 for All India 50% Quota
Following are the eligibility requirements for NEET MDS 2024 All India 50% Quota candidates.
- Candidates who have studied/passed BDS from the state of Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for 50% NEET MDS All India Quota seats.
- However, the candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do BDS from Dental Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible to apply for admission in NEET MDS.
- Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring that they are nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do BDS from Dental Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir to the official address along with the printout of the acknowledgement of submission of online application for NEET MDS.
- Candidates who are pursuing their final year UG will be accepted by the board.
- Candidates must complete their internship program before the NEET MDS exam 2024
Note: To be eligible for NEET MDS applicants have to finish their internship before the cut-off date i.e., Mar 31, 2024.
NEET MDS Application Form 2024

NEET MDS Exam Day Guidelines 2024
Candidates planning to appear for the NEET MDS 2024 examination must keep the below-mentioned points in mind.
- The selection and admission to postgraduate seats under NEET MDS in any dental institutions recognized for running MDS courses as per the Dentists Act, 1948 is subject to fulfilling the admission, eligibility, medical fitness, and such criteria as may be prescribed by the respective universities, medical institutions, Dental Council of India, State/Central Government.
- Applications of NEET MDS candidates producing false or fabricated information will not be considered and candidates may be further debarred from appearing in any future examinations conducted by NBE/ MoHFW/ Other Institutions.
- Incomplete applications or applications not per instructions will not be considered and are liable to be rejected.
- The examination fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Candidates’ NEET MDS eligibility is purely provisional & is subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed by the NBE/ DCI/ University/ Dental College or Institute.
- Requests are not entertained for a change in the examination centre or city. Absentees from NEET MDS examination will forfeit their examination fee. Possession/Use of mobile phones/Electronic devices is strictly prohibited on the premises of NBE test centres.
- Candidates will not be allowed to leave NEET MDS examination premises until the entire duration of the exam is up except for genuine medical conditions.
- A demo test shall be available for the benefit of NEET MDS candidates to familiarize themselves with the computer-based test format. Applicants will be able to access the Demo test.
NEET MDS Exam Centres 2024
NEET MDS 2024 will be conducted in 51 exam centres located across different cities in the country. Candidates will be permitted to choose the NEET MDS exam centre 2024 of their choice while filling out the application form.
- At the time of online submission of the NEET MDS application form, candidates will be required to choose the city in which they want to take the test.
- The choice of the city for NEET MDS depends on the availability of the test centres in a particular city and the allotment shall be done on a first come first serve basis i.e., based on the number of applications received and the availability of the seats in the centre, NEET MDS exam centre will be allotted.
- All NEET MDS candidates at the centre shall be frisked by security guards and biometric information shall be captured.

NEET MDS Exam Pattern 2024
NEET MDS will be conducted online as a computer-based test (CBT), as per the scheme prescribed. NEET MDS 2024 comprises 240 Multiple Choices Questions (MCQs) with a single correct response. Candidates will be given 3 hours i.e., 180 minutes to complete the examination.
As per NEET MDS exam pattern 2024, 4 marks will be awarded for the correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for the incorrect response. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. NEET MDS question paper will be in the English language.
