Himachal Pradesh University, [HPU] Shimla, is spread over 200 acres. The university is acknowledged for its huge campus and residential facilities in India. Some of the highlighting features of the HPU infrastructure are given below.
Library: HPU library has a six-story building that can accommodate 450 readers in reading halls and about 100 research scholars in cubicles on different floors. It has a collection of over 2,19,852 books, 45 periodicals & journals, and more than 8000 e-journals.
Health Centre: Himachal Pradesh University campus offers healthcare facilities during the day and odd hours to students, teachers, employees, and their families, receive OPD level therapy. The number of patients seeking therapy has increased in recent years due to the best treatment being provided to them. Approximately 20000 individuals are treated in the health centre's outpatient section every year.
Hostel: HPU has fourteen hostels, four for boys and ten for girls. Approximately 1058 girls and 589 boys are housed at the hostel. All hostel admissions are made in order of merit. Mess, internet access through Wi-Fi and LAN, and a common room with LED TV, current periodicals, newspapers, and indoor activities are available. A dining hall is maintained. The hall is kept clean so that borders can enjoy their meals. Each Himachal Pradesh University hostel has a Warden and office personnel in charge of the hostel's seamless day-to-day operation. The Warden, in collaboration with various committees, maintains a disciplined, scholarly, and peaceful environment at the hostel. Furthermore, HPU hostel facilities include CCTV 24*7.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Students who are pursuing M.Tech are given hostels with separate rooms for personal space. Infrastructure is up to mark; labs and classrooms are modified and are up to mark, and students enjoy the atmosphere of the department.
Placements & Internships : Internship depends upon personal choice. Companies like Infosys, GreyB, and Wipro recruits students every year by college placements. The average package offered is INR 4 lakh per annum which is suitable in starting.
Fees & Scholarships : Himachal Pradesh University, [HPU] Shimla Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1 Lakh. Students from economically weaker background get full fee wavier and half fee wavier for special cases.
Academics & Faculty : Classes are organised daily as per the schedule, and 75% attendance is compulsory to sit for final examinations. The teaching faculty The quality and method of teaching is excellent.
Clubs & Associations : Talking about student society and clubs, ABVP and SFI are two student union which handles all the query and problems of the student and college management cooperates with them. Clubs like a sports club, technical clubs, and other several other clubs are there for assisting the departmental events. College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 2 hostels. One for boys and one for girls. And it takes INR 10,000 per annum and some relaxation for girls. Food is good and with hostel fee food also concluded. All things are in a good condition.
Fees & Scholarships : Per semester. It's on an average INR 1500-2000. Many BPL scholarships and good grade scholarship. On an average, nearly 700 students got the scholarship. No loans required.
Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is excellent. Classes are on time, given project on the subject taken, and assignments too. A very good method by good interaction with students. It is more study and more fun. Both are together.
Clubs & Associations : All are good persons and we'll friendly. Annual function, sports meet, cultural function, fresher and farewell parties. Life is awesome in this college.

Fees & Scholarships : Tuion Fees is INR 60k per year. Above 80% students, gets a scholarship.no loan is needed.
