Infrastructure Facilities at Indian Institute of Information Technology, [IIIT] Ranchi:
Canteen:
- The canteen is known as the 'Annapurna Canteen' is situated beside the dispensary
- Great food at subsidized rates with a good menu makes it a regular hangout for students
Hostels:
- There are 13 hostels in total with 9 allocated to boys and 4 to girls
- Mess facility is available serving breakfast, lunch, refreshment, and dinner
- WiFi facility with internet connectivity is available
- Television with DTH facility is placed in a common room
- There is access to indoor games like table tennis and carrom
Computer Center:
- The computer center is an oval structure serving three purposes - computational, laboratories, and network services
- The center is equipped with high-end servers and used by students, teachers, and staff
- There are 3 PC laboratories and internet service is available through VSAT on all weekdays
- The space in the center is going to be used to accommodate a multi-media laboratory, a CAD laboratory, and a smart seminar room.
Transport Facilities:
- The bus facility runs from the campus to Bistipur thrice a day.
Bank:
- Both State Bank of India and ICICI bank has branches with special counters for students
Post Office:
- There is a post office within the premises of the Institute for students to avail its services
Gymkhana:
- The Gymkhana is the venue for most co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for students
Health Center:
- Keeping in mind the health issues, there is a dispensary within the campus with a male and female doctor.
- Medical check-ups are free of cost with free medicines included

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Infrastucture is good as the college has new campus. Hostel facilities are also good.Three students live in 1 room.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : You can take admission here using JEE MAIN rank through JOSAA counselling.Your JEE MAIN rank should less then 5000 if you belong to general category.For obc your category rank should be less than 10000.For sc category your category rank should be less than 16000. For st category rank shoud be less than 40000.
Fees & Scholarships : Fee increases every year.For 2023 total fees of one semester is around 170000-180000 for all category. Scholarship is not povided by college.You have to opt for any other government scholarships. Internship opportunities are provided during third year and companies visit campus for recruitment at the end of third year during first week of August.
Academics & Faculty : All faculties are good.They are knowledgeable and are from reputed colleges in India. Curriculum of this college is relevant and coursera courses are made free for all college students so that they can improve their skills. Faculty to student ratio is less. There are 2 exams in each semester: One is mid semester exam and other is end semester exam.
Placements & Internships : Almost all students get placed by the end of fourth year.Those who want to go for higher studies prepare for gate and exams.
Clubs & Associations : College life is good.Many events take place each month.There are several clubs too.Sports facilities are also good.Students go to Inter IIIT sports meet each year and bring medals to the college.
