Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli (IIIT Trichy), was established in 2016. It is an institute of National Importance and one among the 19 new IIITs proposed under the non-profit Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Model by MHRD. IIIT Trichy does not have a campus of its own therefore it operates from its mentor institute, NIT Trichy.

IIIT Admission 2020

IIIT Tiruchirappalli offers undergraduate programs. The selection of candidates to IIIT Trichy's BTech program is based on their JEE Main score. The counseling process is managed and regulated by JoSAA based on which candidates are allotted seats. The seat allotment is based on the college cutoff and candidate's preference for courses and colleges.

IIIT Trichy offers a four-year BTech program in two specializations including Computer Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. IIIT Application Form 2020

To apply for IIIT Trichy's BTech program, candidates need to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to fill the JEE Main application form. The application fee for boys is Rs 625 and for girls, it is Rs 325. JEE Main-qualified candidates with requisite cut off need to visit the IIIT Trichirappalli campus for the seat allotment process. The step-by-step process to fill JEE Main 2020 application form is listed below:

1. Visit the official website of NTA
2. Register yourself by clicking on “New Registration”
3. Select “JEE-Main” and complete the registration process
4. Log in to your account and upload the necessary documents
5. Fill up your choices and lock
6. Take the print out of the online application form and enclose it with the hard copies of documents
7. Send the filled form and documents to the Principal at the institute, for verification
8. After the seat allotment, visit the reporting center in order to complete the admission process
