IIM Kashipur PhD is a full-time four-year, residential doctoral programme created to meet working professionals' academic and research needs. The course is available in seven specializations and subjects students can choose and study for their doctorate.

Admission to the IIM Kashipur PhD programme is through GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/JRF(NET) and personal interview.

IIM Kashipur PhD Eligibility Criteria

IIM Kashipur PhD eligibility criteria include a Master’s Degree with at least 60% marks. Students with a professional qualification duly recognized by UGC/AICTE/AIU equivalent to a Master's degree (like CA, CMA, CS) with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average can apply for admission. Similarly, students who have completed their B.Tech/B.E./B. Arch. etc., with a CGPA of 6.5, are eligible for application. 

IIM Kashipur PhD Admission 

Indian Institute of Management Kashipur admission to the PhD course is accepted through CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/ JRF (NET). The submission of the application is followed by a personal interview.

 Application Procedure 

The IIM Kashipur PhD application procedure details are given here. However, students must review all admission brochures before applying for the course:

• Candidates who meet the aforementioned academic eligibility requirements should submit their applications online.
• The respective areas will do the shortlisting based on the applications received, candidates meeting the academic eligibility requirements, and acceptable standard test scores.
• Candidates will be contacted for the PI at IIM Kashipur (online/offline).
• The candidate's academic background in the field for which they have applied is evaluated by PI.
• A candidate may submit applications to no more than two separate specializations.
• The Admissions Committee will determine the various criteria for the PI, and IIM Kashipur expects a consistent and minimum performance under each one.
• Candidates will not be considered for the next round of the selection process if they do not meet the minimum performance requirements in any of the PI metrics.
• The criteria of the academic area to which the candidate has applied and an area-by-area offer list that the Areas will only create will be used in the final selection.

Entrance Exams

The eligible IIM Kashipur PhD entrance exams are CAT/GMAT/GRE/ GATE/JRF (NET). The institute does not conduct its entrance test for PhD admission.

IIM Kashipur PhD Fee 

IIM Kashipur PhD course is a 3-year doctoral program offered to students. This course is offered in various specializations too. However, there is no tuition fee for PhD courses. IIM Kashipur provides a stipend of INR 30,000 to all doctoral candidates. This amount, however, increases to INR 35,000 per month depending on their academic performance.

Additionally, each student is eligible for a Contingency Grant of INR 25,000 and an Equipment Grant of INR 50,000. For married participants, the additional amount of INR 5000/m will be reimbursed on production of the rent receipt.
