Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana scholarship students enrolled in IISER will receive scholarships according to KVPY standards. In addition, the Ministry of Science and Technology will award a limited number of INSPIRE scholarships of Rs 5000 per month to candidates enrolled through the JEE and SCB channels if they meet the criteria set by DST. Students with a bachelor of science degree in engineering or economics are not eligible for the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali scholarships.

Fees & Scholarships : 78k is my course fee including hostel for 1 year many scholarship options available for students i.e KVPY, merit cum scholarship and inspire . More than 30% students recieve Inspire and around 10-15% students recieve KVPY and around 30% students recieve merit cum scholarship. loan depends upon the financial condition of the student
Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs in the college, and regular activities are held. Overall, the campus is very awesome.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria is 70% aggregate percentage in class 12th for general and OBC candidates and 65% for SC/ST category and admission procedure is of three type SCB channel , KVPY and JEE advance ranked under 10k. I gave SCB and scored around 93 out of 180 and qualify for IISER mohali we have to give all four subjects for SCB channel i.e maths physics biology and chemistry.
Placements & Internships : I received merit cum scholarship given by my college itself many campus selections happen in final year i.e 5th year . Many companies visit our college with a great package. The average package for data science this year was around 8 LPA most of us don't go for placement instead, we pursue for higher education i.e PhD
Academics & Faculty : 9-1pm is class timing and 2-5 is lab timing project assignment and exam are very frequent and is of relative grading so no need to worry much
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Till now 4 hostels are here and in future 4 more will be made and this is totally residential college so you have to stay here only . Food is very nice here no need to worry and is of pay and eat basis in mess
