The School of Management at IIT Mandi offers the IIT Mandi MBA. The program is two years long and spread over four semesters. The MBA courses are offered in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The course combines current management theories, human development concepts, and pertinent data science tool implementations.

IIT Mandi MBA Eligibility Criteria

IIT Mandi MBA eligibility requirements consist of a minimum of three years of full-time study towards a bachelor's degree OR two years of full-time study towards a master's degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 65% for all applicants. All applicants must have studied Maths at 10+2. 

Applicants must have valid CAT scores. Students must have required qualifications from any Centrally Funded Technical Institution or any of the top 100 institutions as determined by the NIRF ranking 2023 (engineering or overall category) to be exempt from CAT scores.

IIT Mandi MBA Fees

The average tuition fee for the MBA course is INR 7 Lakhs. Other variables of fees, such as admission fees, hostel charges, and other charges, are not included. The SC/ST/PH students are given 100% exemption from tuition fees

IIT Mandi MBA Admission

Students are required to take the CAT/ GMAT exam and interview for admission to the IIT Mandi MBA program at the School of Management at IIT Mandi. The selection process includes the interview, and the performance at the interview carries a weight of 40%. 

Based on the selection criteria outcomes, a standard merit list will be prepared to release the offer letters. The candidates who made the shortlist will receive email invitations to interviews. This information will also be accessible on the Institute's website.

The personal interview is conducted on the campus of IIT Mandi. 

Application Procedure 

The admission portal for the IIT Mandi MBA admission procedure is open only during certain times. It is recommended that applicants confirm the deadlines for certain programs before making any payments.

The steps to be followed to apply are given below:

• The applicant must register using a new registration and an email address and mobile number.
• The Personal Profile is created and locked permanently. Once locked, this action cannot be undone.
• Register for the necessary course.
• Fill in all the information requested.
• Use a payment gateway to pay fees and submit the form.

The application fee for the general category students is INR 2400.

Entrance Exams

Passing the CAT is a requirement for admission to the MBA program at IIT Mandi.
