The highest package was offered to students of the Finance function by companies from the Financial Services sector. Similarly, the median package offered during Institute of Management Technology placements 2023 was recorded as INR 11.00 LPA.

IMT Hyderabad has successfully concluded the placement drive for the PGDM batch of 2021- 23. During 2023 placements, the IMT Hyderabad average package offered for students of the PGDM program was INR 12.00 LPA. IMT Hyderabad Placement Cell

IMT Hyderabad has a placement cell that takes care of all the placement activities of the institute. The institute has a Student Committee of Placements, popularly known as SCOP, that is an integral part of the IMT Hyderabad placement cell. The main objective of the SCOP is to bridge the gap between students and the Corporate Relations Group. It also acts as a bridge between the Institute and corporates by organising various campus engagement activities like leadership series, practitioner sessions and pre-placement talks.

The Institute of Management and Technology placement cell is also responsible for the smooth conduction of summer and final placements. The IMT Hyderabad placement cell conducts various workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industry interactions, etc., to prepare students for final placements. The Student Committee of Placements also helps students find the best opportunity that fits them.

IMT Hyderabad Placement Process

The IMT Hyderabad placement cell and Student Committee of Placements are responsible for organising the annual placement drives. The step-by-step process for conducting the IMT Hyderabad placements is given below.

• Pre-placement talks are organised for interaction between recruiters and students. Companies share their vision, work culture, and opportunities during the pre-placement talks.
• Post PPTs, interested students apply for the roles offered by organisations through the placement office. Students share their detailed resumes with the placement office, which is then shared with the organisation.
• Based on the resumes, companies shortlist students for the recruitment process.
• Once the final interview is done, companies issue an offer letter to students who have cleared the selection process. The offer letter should have details like the job role offered, compensation package, location, and other terms and conditions.
• IMT Hyderabad students also receive pre-placement offers based on their performance during summer internships and projects. Students with a PPO more than the previous year's average salary package, will not be allowed to sit in the placement process.

IMT Hyderabad Internship 2022

The Internship Program (IP) at IMT Hyderabad is an integral part of the PGDM program's curriculum. The internship program enables students to apply the knowledge and skills they possess in real-life situations. The duration of the Internship Program is 12 weeks and is offered for students who have completed three terms of coursework.

The placement cell has concluded the internship program for the 2021- 23 batch. Around 97% of the internships offered during the IMT Hyderabad summer internship 2023 were stipendary internships. The highest stipend offered in 2023 was INR 0.75 Lakhs per month, and the average stipend was recorded as INR 0.12 Lakhs per month. • Pre-placement talks are organised by the company either on-campus or online based on their convenience.
• Interested students can apply to the organisation by submitting their resume through the Enterprise Resource Planning. Corporate Relations Office then shares the resume with the organisation.
• Recruiters shortlist students, based on their resume, for GD or PI rounds depending on the recruitment policy.
• Recruiters then issue an offer letter through the placement office for students who have cleared the final interview.
