Pass or appearing in B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE /MCA/M.Sc.in the respective discipline or equivalent.

Candidates having MCA and M.Sc. (Maths) degree are eligible for M.Tech in Comp. Sc. & Data Processing.

Candidates with M.Sc. (Electronics) are eligible for M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering and M.Tech. in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.

M.Sc. in Computer Science and IT are eligible for M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering and CS & IT respectively.

A candidate with B.Tech. (Environmental / Chemical / Civil / Mechanical / Metallurgy) or M.Sc. (Environmental Science / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Geology / Life Science / Botany / Zoology) is eligible for M.Tech. in Environmental Science & Technology.

For M.Tech. Material Science & Technology candidate must have M.Sc. (Physics) / M.Sc. (Chemistry) / B.Tech. (Electronics & Communication Engg.) / B.Tech (Electrical Engg.) 

For M.Tech. in Biotechnology, candidates having B.Tech./B.E. in Biotechnology or related fields / M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science or equivalent / MBBS / B.Pharm./B.Sc. with Biology as a subject at +2 level are eligible
