IIFT was awarded the Best Fashion Institute of India by the World Management Congress. The institute campus has several amenities for students such as a library, practical labs, cafeterias and an on-campus hostel. International Institute of Fashion Technology, [IIFT] Bareilly offers courses under two broad categories of Fashion and Interior Designing. Within the two areas, they offer courses in apparel merchandising, computer aided designing, retail management and textile designing. There are diplomas, advanced diplomas, professional courses as well as bachelor’s and master’s programmes.

Diplomas are a great way to pick up specialized skills in a given field alongside a more basic degree, they help to get an edge in our area of specialization and their application-orientation ensures more practical experience. The institute offers diploma courses which are for a duration of 1 year. Subjects offered include fashion design, interior design, textile and jewellery design. There is also an Advanced Diploma course in Fashion Design for a duration of 2 years.

At the undergraduate level, the institute offers degree programmes such as BA and B.Sc in the fields of Fashion and Interior designing. These courses are for a duration of 3 years. In addition to these, is the CAD or Computer Aided Design programme which integrated the sciences of computerization and graphics with the art of designing. This is an up-and-coming sphere and has a plethora of opportunities to offer.

The institute offers courses at the postgraduate level in fashion and interior designing. These courses are for a duration of 2 years and include degree programmes such as MA, M.Sc and MBA. Each degree programme has a different curriculum despite having similar subjects of specializations. For instance, the M.Sc course is more likely to focus on the technical aspects of designing in comparison to the MA course which focuses more on the art of designing. Likewise, the MBA course will focus on topics such as retails, resources and marketing aspects involved in the field of design. The M.Sc and MA courses are offered in two subjects whereas MA specialization is available only in Interior Design.
