M.Phil in Jainology:
The candidate must have done M.A. or Acharya in any of the following subjects from a recognized University :
Jainology, Comparative Religion, Comparative Philosophy, Sanskrit, Prakrit, Pali and Manusriptology science.
M.Phil in Prakrit :
The candidate must have done M.A. or Acharya in any of the following subjects from a recognized University :
prakrit and Jain Agam, Pali, Sanskrit, Apabhramsha literature, Jainology(Jain Philosophy), Linguistics, Hindi Literature, Rajisthani Language and Literature, Philosophy, Manuscriptology etc.
The candidate needs to take the admission form from the reception counter of JVBI on the cash payment or can download the prospectus from the official website of JVBI.
The candidates who are downloading the prospectus online must pay the application fees in the tile of submission of the application at the reception counter of the University.
Once the candidate fills the application form he/she can also submit the form by posting it through a registered post, the application fee will be accepted in the form of cash/DD.
once paid application fee will not be refunded. The candidate must send two passport size photos along with the application form and the application must be sent some days before to make up for the postal delays.
The candidate fills the form for the selected course and submits it to the University.
The candidate gets the admit card and attends the entrance exam and then wait for the results.
The admission to all the courses is done based on the merit list and the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam and the interview. Then the counseling takes place for final seat confirmation.
In case of delay in any of the steps in admission from the side of the candidate the admission will be canceled by the University and the University has the full authority to do it.
