JNCU Infrastructure Details

JNCU infrastructure is spread over 54 acres of land in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. It is equipped with the modern facilities for a better learning experience. JNCU has a central library, sports facilities, seminar halls, and computer centres alongside other amenities like accommodation and accessible commutable location. Hostel: JNCU hostel facilities are offered to boys and girls separately. Students are expected to follow the rules and regulations set by the authorities to maintain the decorum of the hostel. The hostels have Wi-Fi, food, and clean drinking water facilities. There are both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned room options for the students. The hostel rooms are well furnished with separate cots and almirahs. 

Library: The JNCU has a central library with a collection of more than 5500 volumes of books in the Social Science and Humanities, Computer, Yoga, Arts and Languages, Science, and Journalism streams. In addition, several journals, magazines, fictional books, encyclopaedias, dictionaries and reference books are available. The JNCU library’s vision is to guide, enlighten and help educate students, faculty members and research scholars. 

Sports Facilities: The JNCU infrastructure has included amenities for outdoor and indoor gaming activities to encourage students to pursue sports for their fitness and well-being. Indoor games like table tennis, chess and carrom are present while there are different grounds for games like hockey, football and cricket. Badminton, volleyball and handball gaming courts are also available.

Computer Centre: The JNCU campus has a computer centre for students. The computers have high-speed internet access, licensed software and other utility features. There are computers for learning and research purposes, and all students can access them.

Seminar Hall: JNCU infrastructure offers a seminar hall with modern amenities like audio-visual aids, an LCD projector, an amplifier and an overhead projector. Several academic events, conferences, cultural events and exhibitions are organised in the seminar hall.
