KIIT School of Design (KSOD) offers state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities to its students. There are around 10+ spacious design classrooms, a well-equipped library, a swimming pool, sports centers, and gym facilities for the KSOD students. Advanced labs like CAD Laboratory, Design Workshop, and Clay Modelling Laboratories are present to make sure the students get maximum practical design exposure. Library

The KIIT School of Design library consists of various books, e-journals, e-books, e-thesis, and dissertations.
The library constitutes around 13,63,865 books, 43,193 e-journals, and 169470 e-books.
There are around 4.3+ million e-thesis and dissertations.
Apart from this, the KSOD library is also home to 571 print journals,16,806 bound volumes, and 2982 rare books.

Design Classrooms

The design classrooms available at KSOD aims at enhancing student learning and development.
The design classroom is a space that encourages the instructors and facilitates the overall educational experience of the students.
State-of-the-art classrooms are present at the KIIT School of Design with student-friendly furniture.
Additional types of equipment like projectors and interactive display monitors are present to keep the classroom up to date.

CAD Laboratory

The Computer-Aided Designing Lab (CAD Lab) consists of various servers that assist in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design.
It increases the productivity of a designer by improving the overall quality of design.
With the help of various CAD software packages, the KSOD students learn how computer-aided manufacturing can be applied to their design processes like digital sketching/renderings, 3D modeling, etc.

Design Workshop

The Design Workshop at KSOD consists of a spacious outlet with an array of machinery from lathe machines to mechanical cutters and welding equipment.
It is the place where the students develop their physical modeling projects to scale models of their concepts.
The basic operations involve shaping, cutting, milling, sawing, boring, slotting, grinding, drilling, and turning a variety of objects made from metal, wood, plastic, and any other solid material.

Clay Modelling Laboratory

The clay modeling laboratory at KSOD transforms a designer’s vision into a tangible reality.
It is a crucial component of the design process.
The laboratory is well-equipped with all the modern accessories which are used in the automotive and product-design industries.

Hostel

The hostel provides the necessary accommodation required for the KSOD students.
KSOD hostel provides facilities like a 24-hour reading room and student access to the library and labs.
