Library

The Library helps and guides the reader to inculcate study habit to pursue excellence. It enlightens the young aspiring minds to emerge as a powerful force for nation building.

Library has more than 8913 volumes and subscribes to the latest National Journals & Periodicals. Book Bank facility is provided to the students. A photocopier is available for the use of staff & students. Internet is also accessible to students in the library. The college is subscribing.

Laboratories :-

Psychology Laboratory

The Laboratory is equipped with psychological testing materials. The student teachers conduct experiments to know the psychological aspects like attention, distraction, memory, intelligence etc that help in handling children in the classroom. The students also practice experiments in the laboratory.

Educational Technology Laboratory

The knowledge in the use of modern methods / equipments is essential for the teacher trainee. In order to provide training LCD Projector, TV, DVD, VCD, Slide Projector & OHP etc are provided in the Laboratory. Interactive boards are installed under the UGC XI plan.

Computer Laboratory

The computer laboratory is well equipped with 20 systems, which help in training the teachers the knowledge of computer use in the classroom.Here the students can access Broadband internet facility. Students study computer as one of the subjects.

Co-Curricular Activities

The college has a Student Union, which has different subcommittees. Various cultural programmes, field trips, sports, community-oriented programmes etc are conducted under the union activities.

The college has a unique feature of providing opportunity for the student teachers to exhibit their hidden talents in games & cultural activities throughout the course. One period per week is separately allotted for both cultural programme and sports activities.

The I G N O U B.Ed Programme study center has been allotted to the college from 2005. It is a distance mode of learning and is beneficial for the inservice teachers who have secured the job without professional qualifications. Eligibility for B.Ed (IGNOU) is minimum 2 years in teaching profession and 50% aggregate in their degree. Any graduate may take the admission.
