Personality Development Session
Krystal school of excellence conducts regular sessions on Personality Development for students where they indulge in activities to understand the methodology behind the development of personality and also help them with tips to increase their concentration levels and focus. In these sessions, the students are taught about the importance of having a well-groomed personality and are also advised to stick to their own thinking and have their own perspective towards situations, and handle them accordingly. The sessions help students to think big in life and set small goals one at a time.
Cake Mixing Ceremony
Every year Krystal school of Excellence celebrates a cake mixing ceremony with great pomp and grandeur and the students are directly involved with the ceremony. They prepared the cake mixture by mixing different kinds of dry fruits soaked in rum and other spirits before Christmas. The mixing ceremony was attended by industry experts and distinguished chefs. The events were a lovely exposure for the students before joining the industry especially for the students who are interested in the Food Production department, as they got the chance to gain knowledge from the industry experts and practical knowledge about cake mixing ceremonies.
Calcutta Hues Food & Art Festival
Calcutta Hues food & art festival was organized with a motive to give practical exposure to the budding chefs and service personnel, which will help them in developing their skills and talent. Also, such festivals help Krystalites to learn teamwork, leadership, planning with overall management. The presence of famed personalities of the hotel industry graced the occasion and appreciated the students for their hardship towards the event.
Cocktail Session
KSE teaches the students the art of cocktail making through the cocktail session. A cocktail session is where the tricks, artistries, and techniques of creating the cocktails making in a professional way are taught. KSE cocktail session introduces the students to the different bar equipment that is used. Students learn the name and use of each piece of equipment and glassware. They are shown how to set up a bar counter by professionally arranging the bar stations.
Tea Tasting Session
The tea tasting session at KSE allows students to experience several varieties of tea right from Darjeeling's first flush, Kashmiri kahwa tea to oolong tea and other green teas. A professional tea tasting session was conducted using proper equipment. Students were taught to use tea tasting cups, tea timers to learn the proper brewing of tea. To understand the complexity of tea, students were also encouraged to taste and smell the varieties of tea in order to understand the different aromas of tea. A colorful setup was made where a professional tea taster explained each flavor and color of the different types of tea.
