Facilities :-

Agriculture Research Farm :

The University has a 189-acre agriculture farm with irrigation facility where the students conduct research to develop innovative techniques of agriculture and to display improved agricultural techniques.

GIS Lab :

It is an up-to date and highly sophisticated lab. The students are trained in Remote Sensing and Geo-Informatics. It has all kinds of updated softwares.

Computer Centre:

Computer training is an integral part of the all University programmes. The University has a very sophisticated computer centre as a central facility. It has 300 computers with need-based updated software. In addition, there is a computer hardware lab. Internet facility for all the students is also available.

Audio-visual Centre:

For optimum use of the media, the University has an audio-visual centre,where students are trained in photography and film making. A Video-Conferencing facility in the university is a distinctive feature for distance education.

Laboratories :

There are labs for various science, environment and technology educational programmes. In these labs students conduct practicals on the theories taught in the class. The labs are being made more sophisticated through support from the various projects. The construction of new separate science, engineering and technology and management blocks is in progress at a cost of Rs.3.37 crores.

Workshop:

The University has a workshop where agriculture tools & equipment along with other iron and wooden tools are housed/repaired. At this centre practical training is imparted to engineering students.

Central Library (Jigyasa):

The University has a sophisticated (e-library) central library. It has 47890 text and reference books, 1200 video-cassettes, 100 audio-cassettes and 1000 CD-ROMs. It is fully computerized and gets UGC help through INFLIBNET Programme. The library keeps a regular supply of research journals, abstracts, magazines and journals of various subjects, employment related magazines along with other national and regional newspapers. Four thousand four hundred fifty three National and International Research Journals & abstracts are available under UGC INFONET Programme. An air conditioned reading room is available with internet facility.

Yoga Centre:

Yoga training is compulsory for all the University students and the task of imparting theoretical and practical knowledge is being done by our competent Yoga teachers. The UGC has identified /recognised Yoga centre as a quality centre for human consciousness and Yoga Science education.

Physical Education & Sports Centre :

Indoor and outdoor sports facilities exist for physical and mental alertness of the students. The students participate in the various sports competitions conducted by the university.

Health Centre and Rasshala:

There is an Ayurveda centre for regular health checkup and treatment of students. It has raw materials to prepare medicines by Ayurvedic methods.

Music Training Centre:

The University has a music centre to give aesthetic shape to the students musical aptitude. Folk music and puppetry are also associated with it. It also imparts special training in Sugam Sangeet.

Assembly Hall:

The University has a well-furnished assembly hall to accommodate about 250 people, where seminars, conferences and other events are organised. Besides this the University has an open theatre (Sadhbhawana Sabhagar) full of greenery with space to sit 5000 students.
Hostels & Living places:
Separate hostel facilities are available on the campus for male and female students. Another boys and girls hostels are being added that will provide accommodation to 100 boys and 150 girls. Off-campus rental rooms are also available where students can live single or share with other students

ransport facility:

The University has conveyance facility at a reasonable fare for the students.

anteen:

Canteen on the campus caters food and refreshments to the students. Male and female hostelers have separate canteens.
Scholarship/Fellowship:
SC/ST/OBC students are given scholarship/fellowship as per MP Govt. regulations. Besides SC/ST students can avail UGC sponsored fellowship to persue M.Phil. and Ph.D. Studies.

Rail Concession:

Student's rail concession are provided as per the directives of the Railway Ministry, Govt. of India.
Campus Interview:
Many leading institutes and companies visit the University for campus interview and select talents from the management, science, technology and other vocational programmes.

Prayer Hall:

To have a holestic development of students personality a well equiped prayer hall for 250 students is available.
