Training and Placement :-
The department is exclusively functioning for training and placement activities. The department aims to mould employable engineering graduates by providing training on required skill sets. The department provides unique placement assistance for each and every student depending on the individual taste and preferences.
Employability enhancement workshops are organized well in advance to equip the outgoing students to face the recruitment and placement processes and to meet the corporate expectations. Training activities include induction programme for freshers, communication, motivation and soft skill development training for all students. Training on business communication, GDs and Mock Interviews by HR professionals, Psychometric and Aptitude tests are organized for the students to sharpen their skills. Along with this, it takes initiatives in establishing industry-institute linkages, Industrial Visits, Guest Talks by experts from different sectors, ToT programme for teaching faculty, formation of quality circles of students, facilitating different activities of various associations and clubs. The soft skill development club under the guidance of the department focuses on the development of the soft skills of the students. It aims at giving the students ample practice in Group Discussions, Job Interviews, Stress Interviews, Personality Development, Role Plays and many more. Each student is given individual attention and helps in developing their presentation skills, public speaking and inter-personal relationships.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The student should have opted for the science stream while doing 12th should have good marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. The entrance examination I gave is Kerala Engineering Architectural Medical (KEAM). The cutoff for my course is 50%.
Fees & Scholarships : Mar Baselius College of Engineering & Technology, Idukki Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 71,400 per annum. There are many scholarship options but very few percentages are eligible to avail those scholarships.
Academics & Faculty : The class starts at 9 am and ends at 2.30 pm. There are model and series examinations and two assignments for every subject. The teaching process is really effective and there is a clarity of the subject being taught. The college experience is also wonderful with efficient teaching staff and good classmates.

Placements & Internships : They arrange for internships at various colleges. IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. The college started its alumni association last year.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : It was a really easy procedure for admissions. They helped in everything for it. I wrote the Kerala entrance. We need 55% in pcm to qualify for the management seat.
Fees & Scholarships : INR 85000 Scholarship from the management as much as only INR 8500 as tuition fees. 10
Academics & Faculty : 9-4 classes as well as a lunch break. Projects and assignments are allowed by the University. Good. Average.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 4 hostels. The quality of the hostel is good. Hostels cost INR 18000 per anum. Good quality food. Per day INR 92 Good quality classroom.
Clubs & Associations : Iste, the go green club, the library club, IEEE etc. Swastika which is the tech fest of the college. College life is full as it is very strict.
