The eligibility criteria for M.Tech in Industrial Engineering and Management is the candidate must have completed or pursuing B.Tech. The candidate must have cleared the Post Graduate Entrance Exam and if the candidate has valid GATE rank then it will be a bonus and will be given preference and scholarship will be provided. Cutoffs will be decided by the authorization.
Fees & Scholarships :
Being a Government organization the course fee for M.Tech (IEM) is nominal approximately 19K excluding Hostel fee. Earlier TEQUIP provided scholarship but now only GATE scholars get the benefit.
Academics & Faculty :
Classes are held on daily basis. But not so hectic. Projects are given importance. The faculties are good enough. They understand the students and very supportive. Talking about the college experience it's really one of the best place to study because the relationship between the students and the faculties is very good. The faculties always encourage the students. Even if any problem arises the Head of the Department personally look into it and provides help.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
Yes, Boys and Girls both of the hostels are available. And the best part is unlike other colleges in West Bengal the hostels and academic buildings are on the same campus. As the university moved to Haringhata, Nadia recently there is not much PGs available but one can avail Hostel Facility. The food provided by the college and hostel canteen is okay. Smart Classroom is there with a well-equipped laboratory. The library contains academic books as well as Journal papers. WiFi facility is also there.
Clubs & Associations :
There are NSS and other clubs. Saraswati Puja and Biswakarma Puja are the main festivals celebrated there. The college life is good, not much pressure if you do justice with your study.
